Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle told Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen that she will not do a reality TV show for Bravo. Andy has been a producer for the Real Housewives franchise since 2006 and has continued in that role ever since. Furthermore, he is the host of his own late night talk show, WWHL. Meghan, on the other hand, was an actress on TV shows such as Suits and was a briefcase model on Deal Or No Deal.

Meghan has her own podcast called Archetypes, where she spoke with Andy during the season finale. On the podcast, Meghan made a joke about Andy having her “audition for Real Housewives,” after which Andy told her he would “build a show around you.” However, Meghan made it very clear that she is completely against the idea of being on a reality TV show, saying, “There will be no reality shows.” Even though Meghan admitted to being a fan of the Real Housewives franchise, she claimed her life was already drama-fueled enough.

Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Docuseries Coming Soon

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle

Despite the quick shutdown for a reality TV show, people at home will get a preview into Meghan and Prince Harry’s lives with a new six-episode docuseries coming to Netflix soon. Page Six received inside scoop on the new show, which was formerly titled Chapters and is now called Harry & Meghan. The series was originally going to be available to stream on December 8, but a new release date has not been revealed yet. For right now, all fans know is that the series will provide a glimpse into Meghan and Prince Harry’s “love story” and how they got to where they are now.

At least fans will get to peer into the lives of Meghan and Prince Harry and learn more about their story from them and not the media. In some aspects, though, the new Netflix show could be viewed as a reality TV show since it is a documentary series. But Meghan seems to feel differently. Real Housewives fans, Andy included, can watch Harry & Meghan and possibly receive all the insight into Meghan’s life they would like to know.

It seems as though Meghan received enough of a reality TV show lifestyle as the Duchess of Sussex. Considering all the drama that circled Meghan’s life over the years, it appears she is trying to create a more mellow atmosphere away from drama and just focus on living her life. Therefore, it makes perfect sense as to why she told the Watch What Happens Live host she would not want to be involved in the Real Housewives franchise. Hopefully, Meghan will be able to continue living her life separate from the drama, especially after Harry & Meghan premieres.
