Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart steal a turtle in the first look at Me Time. Written and directed by John Hamburg, the Netflix comedy follows Hart as Sonny, a stay-at-home dad who finds himself with a little "me time" for the first time in years while his wife and kids are away. Me Time actually marks Hart and Hamburg's second collaboration together, as the filmmaker previously served as a writer on the comedian's 2018 film Night School.

Gifted with some newfound "me time," Hart's character ends up reconnecting with his former best friend (played by Wahlberg) and the two embark on a wild weekend that could be potentially upend their lives. Hart and Wahlberg lead the Me Time cast which also stars recent Oscars host and Girls Trip star Regina Hall as Sonny's wife. Tahj Mowry, Carlo Rota, Jimmy O. Yang, and Luis Gerardo Méndez also star in supporting roles. Overall, Netflix hasn't revealed much about Wahlberg and Hart's first team-up together, until now.

The first look at the two stars in Me Time has been revealed via Mark Wahlberg's Twitter. The image shows Hart and Wahlberg in matching tracksuits and appear to be attempting a tortoise heist. Wahlberg also announced a release date for the film on Netflix, August 26, and promised it will be full of laughs. Check out the first look below:

The image was released without any additional context, so it's unclear exactly what Wahlberg and Hart's characters are doing with the shelled reptile, though they appear to be purloining it. Whatever their intentions are with the tortoise, this will likely be one of many hilarious antics the duo get up to in Me Time. While the two stars' careers have panned out very differently over the years, they are both certainly no strangers to comedies. Wahlberg has starred in Seth McFarlane's Ted movies and opposite Will Ferrell in 2010's The Other Guys.

Hart, on the other hand, is a comedian best known for his work on stage and the screen, most popularly the Jumanji movies. However, Hart has recently been making content for Netflix under his exclusive deal, which has produced the film Fatherhood, the miniseries True Story, and multiple comedy specials. It should be interesting to see him and Wahlberg showcase their comedic chops and play off one another in Me Time. This actually won't be Hart's only Netflix film releasing this year, as the action-comedy The Man from Toronto will offer a double-dose of laughs for fans of the comedian.
