Minions: The Rise of Gru has marked the little yellow sidekicks' return to movie theaters, and they have the whole world buzzing. While the Minions have clearly found their evil soulmate in Gru, it's difficult not to wonder what other evildoers the Minions would fawn all over had they ever encountered them.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is filled to the brim with so many spectacular villains, the most recent being Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love and Thunder. So it's a certainty the Minions would be able to find some proper employment within the franchise's most despicable.

Agatha

Agatha Harkness in WandaVision.

While the Minions may at first glance seem like they'd stick out like a sore thumb in Westview, they'd likely have the time of their life going along with Agatha's ruse and pulling the strings of Wanda's unraveling.

The Minions are notorious for donning disguises throughout the Despicable Me franchise, and it's almost certain they would be overjoyed to change into whatever costume Agatha needs them to don in order to fool Wanda. It truly wouldn't be that shocking to see one of the Minions take on the role of Pietro in Agatha's plan.

Mysterio

Mysterio commands Stark drones in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Many consider Mysterio to be the best MCU Spider-Man villain, and much of that is due to his over-the-top theatrics. The Minions, having worked for Gru with all of his grand plans of stealing the moon and becoming the world's greatest supervillain and stealing the moon, would fit in just perfectly with Mysterio.

They would instantly adore his dramatic flair and take great joy in helping him to create whatever grand illusion he was working on. It's easy to imagine what kind of ridiculous creatures they would help conjure up for Mysterio to "fight."

General Ross

General Ross on the phone in Black Widow.

Ross was the one who presented the Avengers with the Sokovia Accords, attempting to reign in the superhero team under United Nations control. This obviously didn't work, but it's doubtful that the dream of a super-powered team under government control ended with that idea.

The Minions may not have the powers (or competency) that the Avengers had, but they have incredible durability and perseverant attitude that any government body would want fighting their battles for them.

Ego

Ego the Living Planet holding Peter Quill's walkman in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

The Minions desire to serve the evilest master they can find, and Ego's plan to consume the entire universe and spread his existence to all corners of the cosmos is certainly something that would get the Minions jumping out of their seats.

That, and his commitment to his "purpose" is so strong that he murders the woman he loved, would probably greatly impress the Minions and remind them of their own dedication to their goal. Maybe Ego would finally find the fatherhood with the Minions he never accomplished with Starlord.

Thanos

Thanos With Time Stone in Avengers Infinity War

This might seem like a ridiculous idea, having the goofy Minions serve under such a serious and self-righteous villain, but Thanos could have truly benefited from having those little yellow creatures fighting for him.

Aside from his "children," much of Thanos's army consisted of mindless creatures who were easily bested by Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Had Thanos employed the Minions, gigantic in numbers and seemingly indestructible and maybe even powered with the serum from Despicable Me 2, then his army might have outlasted even the strongest characters who fought against Thanos in Avengers Endgame.

Vulture

Vulture hovering in the air in his suit in Marvel's Spider-Man

Vulture was a family man first and foremost, having only turned to a life of crime in the first place to support his wife and daughter. If he had an option to participate in robberies and make money without ever putting himself in the criminal spotlight, he would probably do it.

The Minions would provide that option, being determined underlings who would participate in the robberies and fights with Spider-Man for him, letting him live his family life. Plus, if he decided to go clean and restart his salvage company, the Minions would probably be great at that too, judging from how they worked on Gru's lair.

Scarlet Witch

Wanda Maximoff Scarlet Witch Arc

While Scarlet Witch has a lot of  heroic redeeming qualities, she has ultimately done some truly heinous things, making her a villain. Her main motivation for all of the evil she has done is a desire to reunite with her children that she created, Tommy and Billy, wanting desperately to be a mother again.

While the Minions could never replace the twins, they certainly could become new children, in sense, for Wanda to look after. The Minions already share a father-child bond with Gru, and it wouldn't be difficult to see Wanda take a motherly liking to the adorable little guys.

Ultron

Eternals-Ultron-Tiamut-Celestial

Ultron was only alive for a brief time before he decided to eradicate humanity from the planet Earth. The Minions, fortunately, do not fall under humanity, meaning they would be free to help him with whatever plans he had.

There's very little less evil than trying to exterminate the entire human race, meaning Ultron would be a surefire master for the Minions. He would probably appreciate their loyal and subservient attitude, something he did not receive from his last underlings in the Maximoffs.

Loki

Loki catching an object in Thor Ragnarok

Loki, one of the smartest superhero movie villains, might not appreciate the company of the largely idiotic Minions at first, but his own troubled past would probably warm him to the lonely little guys who just desperately seek acceptance by an evil master.

The Minions would love Loki's extravagance, as well as his tendency for dramatic mischief. Even if Loki never attempted a grand-scale invasion of the earth again, he'd probably still find a use for the Minions in causing trouble for whatever devious bit of fun he has planned next.

Karli Morgenthau

Karli Morgenthau looking distressed in Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Karli Morgenthau, one MCU Phase 4's most interesting villains, lead the Flag Smashers, a group who fought to return the world back to its state during the Blip, believing it to be more equal and uniting. Their core beliefs as a group are the destruction of borders and patriotism, and the Minions would have no problem with that.

The Minions only serve people, not any specific country and ideal, which means they would easily follow Karli and her crew's lead. They'd also be quite fond of Karli's methods, which tended to get a little violent.
