A new MCU supercut takes fans through various action scenes from the Marvel Studios franchise's Infinity Saga. Wrapping up the more than decade arc in Avengers: Endgame with Spider-Man: Far From Home acting more as an epilogue, Marvel Studios is looking forward with a slew of new upcoming projects confirmed at San Diego Comic Con last month. But while the public waits for Phase 4, there's a fresh clip that collates some of the most memorable battle sequence in the universe.

Diehard fans of the MCU return for their characters. But the franchise, which has now racked up $22 million at the global box office, has achieved this unparalleled level of success thanks to the support of the general movie viewing audience. And for people who aren't exactly as invested into the story, a huge part of the appeal is the films' entertainment value, which could stem from these movies' humor and well-crafted action scenes - the latter of which is at the forefront of a new fan-created supercut.

Courtesy of YouTube content creator Gugga Leunnam comes a new clip stitching some of MCU's most well-executed action sequences. Starting with the Ancient One's (Tilda Swinton) interactions with the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in Endgame and Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in Doctor Strange asking to "open your eye," the video goes into a trippy sequence highlighting several battle scenes from the Infinity Saga - from 2008's Iron Man to this summer's Far From Home. The transitions are impressively smooth, so it's no wonder viewers have nothing but good things to say about it. Check out the full video below:

It's difficult to not feel nostalgic watching the above clip, as each sequence transports fans to the specific film where it was originally seen. The seamless cuts including Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) summoning of Mjolnir in Thor: The Dark World only for the hammer to end up in Captain America's (Chris Evans) hand as seen in Endgame is so rewarding to watch. And many of the scenes stitched together are unexpected pairing choices. The clip also highlights the different skill sets for the MCU's heroes. While the video focuses primarily on later movies, this only makes sense considering that one can argue the MCU's action battle scenes have significantly improved in Phase 3 to varying degrees.

Now, as the MCU moves forward to a brand new phase alongside new characters and sequels for familiar heroes, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige and his team should be more creative in crafting their action scenes. An event-exclusive Black Widow clip gave fans a taste of the gritty and downright dirty fight choreography in the movie, which is exciting to see after dealing with a lot of CGI-enhanced battle scenes in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Meanwhile, with Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) being one of the best fighters in Marvel comics, fans can expect Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings to offer fresh battle scenes to the franchise. And then there's the more obscure films like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Eternals, which will undoubtedly have their own action scene styles considering their characters' respective skill sets.
