The MCU hasn't introduced many siblings. It makes Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) one of the only source of sibling rivalry and comical moments. While fans first disliked Loki's ulterior motive, as the films have progressed fans developed a soft spot for him. They also have a soft spot for the interactions between Loki and his older brother Thor.

Audiences looked forward to what trick Loki would play next on Thor. There was also anticipation for how Thor would interact with Loki, seeing as their relationship slowly evolved. Let's go back to every film and see the best sibling moments Thor and Loki have had.

Thor Tricks Loki

In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor finally got the prankster back at his own game. Thor and Loki have done pretty well together up until Loki revealed his plan to sacrifice Thor so he could get a big reward from the Grandmaster. Thor being the big brother and used to his tricks, is able to double-cross him.

Thor attached the taser device to Loki without him knowing. To add insult to injury, he even gave Loki a smile when he realizes what Thor had done. As Loki is paralyzed in pain, Thor relishes in his win. Audiences know what it's like to get one over on a sibling, which is part of what made this moment so great.

Thor Gets Captured

Loki and The Grand Master

Thor lands on the planet Sakaar and is taken prisoner. By chance, Loki happens to be on the same planet living in luxury. A sibling moment occurs when Loki refuses to acknowledge knowing Thor. He even admits to being adopted. Loki wants nothing to do with Thor.

It gets better when Thor faces Hulk. Loki becomes nervous as Thor shouts that Loki knows Hulk as well. Fans would remember Hulk pummeling him into the ground in the first Avengers film during a comical moment of the final battle.

"I Dumped Her."

Loki Thor

One of the best moments that's not only comical, but it's also a fun riff between Loki and Thor. In Ragnarok, Thor forces Loki to take him to where Loki left their father in New York. A cute moment occurs when Thor sadly admits to Loki that he mourned over his brother's death only to find out he's alive.

Loki being Loki simply answeres with an, "I'm honored."  Completely disregarding Thor's sentiment. Two fans ask for a photo and make the comment about feeling sorry that Thor got dumped. Thor retaliates and Loki can't help but give his brother a sympathy pat on the back.

 "I'm Listening."

Big brothers will do what big brothers do best and that's teaching their younger siblings a lesson. In Avengers, Loki is wreaking havoc on Earth, and Thor has to bring back his mischievous brother to Asgard. Thor steals Loki from Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America (Chris Evans) and gives him a stern talking to.

 Thor Driving The Ship

In Thor: The Dark WorldLoki poked fun at Thor not being able to maneuver the dark elve's ship. Thor becomes frustrated at the buttons not working as Loki tries to tell him what to do.

Loki couldn't help but keep making comments at how poor of a job Thor is doing. Everything from missing a couple of columns to decapitating a statue of their grandfather. Loki didn't go easy on Thor to the point that  Thor pushed him out of the ship.

Loki's First Death

Loki's death on Svartalfheim while Thor cradles him

The first heart-stopping moment when fans believed that Loki was going to die was in Thor: The Dark World. Thor and Loki were up against the dark elves and Loki managed to spear a sword into the scariest one before it could hurt Thor. Loki didn't anticipate the dark elf stabbing into him with the same sword.

A brotherly moment occurs between Thor and Loki. Thor chastised him for being stupid and Loki apologized for everything. Thor looked at Loki and promised to tell their father that Loki died a hero. Audiences felt Thor's anguish of losing his brother.

The Snake Story

An adorable moment occurred in Thor: Ragnarok when Loki was being detained by Thor, Valkyrie (Tessa Thomspon), and Banner (Matt Ruffalo). Thor, without thinking, threw a bottle at Loki. Banner wasn't sold on Loki not trying to kill them. Thor then recounted a story from their childhood.

Loki knew how much Thor loved snakes and had transformed into one. When Thor went to admire it, Loki shifted back and stabbed him. They were only eight and Loki just smiled at the memory. Forget hiding the television remote from your sibling, Loki's snake prank on Thor takes the cake.

Loki Turns Into Captain America

Loki has the wonderful ability to transform himself into others. In Thor: The Dark World, Thor snuck Loki out of detainment. Loki was giddy over Thor committing a mischievous act, but Thor was less than enthused.

Loki had some fun and transformed himself into different personas. He even turned Thor into Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and commented on how ravishing he looked. He went on to do one better and turned himself into Captain America and made fun of the tight suit and feeling of righteousness. Thor, fed up, tricked Loki into handcuffs instead of trusting him with a knife.

Thor's Return To Asgard

Thor touches the shoulder of Loki as Odin in Thor Ragnarok

Hitting high on the list is the moment when Thor returns to Asgard in the third Thor film. Loki transformed himself into Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and made Asgard worship Loki. He even produced a play about how heroic he is. Loki realized Thor's return and the impending end of his fun.

Thor wanted nothing with it and played a trick on his brother. Thor sent away Mjölnir and held Loki, as Odin, in front of him. If Loki didn't submit, Mjölnir will come at him full force. Loki yielded. As an older brother, Thor still made Loki a bit scared.

The Old Fight Trick

Thor turns toward Loki in the Elevator

Thor and Loki had an impromptu moment in an elevator as they tried to escape Sakaar. Loki was baffled that Thor agreed that he was better off on Sakaar. Thor had a heartfelt moment and admitted to Loki that he thought the world of him. He believed they would be side by side forever but things didn't turn out as such.

Loki looked like he felt guilty for once. But Thor then changed topics and suggests doing their old trick, "Get Help." Loki refused initially, despite not having a better plan. He was adamant but they ended up doing it anyway.
