Even though he's only been in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for 5 movies, Spider-Man has become one of the best parts of the franchise for several reasons. One reason is that he's been in some of the MCU's greatest action sequences and is often the most memorable part of those scenes himself.

Peter has had a lot of amazing fights, some that he's clearly won and others that he badly lost, and with Spider-Man: No Way Home releasing soon, that list is sure to get a lot longer.

Elemental Battle

Peter Parker Wearing Street Clothes Drenched In Water Preparing To Fight From Spider-Man: Far From Home

Peter's main goal of Spider-Man Far From Home was to take a break from being Spider-Man. However, he would quickly realize how difficult that would be after his class is attacked in Venice by the giant water elemental. Even without his Spider-Man suit, Peter jumps into action and begins helping people to safety.

This was quite an interesting fight sequence as the viewers had to see Peter act on his feet. He didn't have his suit or his usual technology to rely on so he had to improvise by using his surrounding to his advntage. It was also iconic as it introduced Mysterio to the plot, with the illusionist showing up to help.

Peter vs Vulture

Adrian Toomes In His Vulture Suit With Flames In The Background From Spider-Man Homecoming

Despite being threatened by Adrian Toomes, Peter makes the difficult decision to leave Liz alone at the Homecoming dance to stop Vulture from robbing the Avengers' jet. After an intense aerial battle that damaged the plane, Peter kept it from hitting any buildings by turning the wing using his webs, causing it to crash on Coney Island.

After noticing that Vulture's suit was unstable and was about to explode, Peter saved him before it could kill him. Despite him not having the Stark suit, he was still able to not only defeat Vulture but earn Toomes and the audiences respect for choosing to save the life of an enemy.

Ferry Fight

After finding out about an arms deal between Toomes men on a Ferry, Peter decides to go and apprehend both the dealers and buyers. However, after Peter catches them off-guard, he and the criminals are ambushed by FBI agents that were tipped off by Tony. Before Peter could figure out what was going on, Vulture begins attacking the agents with a Chituari weapon.

Peter manages to take it and web it to the deck of the boat but it causes the Ferry to split in two. Thinking on his feet, Peter locates the Ferry's strongest beams and webs them to each other before trying to use his strength to hold the two pieces together. This was a great scene as it not only showcased Peter's abilities but it also felt reminiscent of the train scene in Spider-Man 2.

Chasing Strange

Spider-Man Holding Back Cull Obsidian's Hammer From Iron Man In Avengers: Infinity War

In Avengers: Infinity War, Peter's on a school bus heading to the MoMA for a field trip when his spidey sense goes off. Using Ned as a distraction, he jumps out of the window and makes his way towards the alien Q ship hovering above the city and luckily gets there just in time to save Iron Man from being crushed by Cull Obsidian.

Tony then tells him to chase after Doctor Strange who was being taken by Ebony Maw which results in Peter ending up on the Q ship as it travels into the atmosphere and into space. It was a pretty iconic scene as it not only showed Peter's growth since the first film but also a new suit.

ATM Robbery

A Robber With A Gun And An Iron Man Mask With Spider-Man Leaning On A Wall Behind Him From Spider-Man Homecoming

A large part of Spider-Man: Homecoming is Peter trying to find things to keep him busy after getting to experience a taste of what it was like being an Avenger in Civil War. While patrolling the neighborhood, Peter notices a group of armed robbers wearing Avengers masks attempted to break into an ATM.

After he cracks a few jokes about them not being the "real Avengers," they start to fight, with Peter gaining confidence as the fight goes on. Fans were delighted with this scene as it allowed them to see Peter's personality come out in force.

The Grand Illusion

Spidey stuck in a Mysterio illusion in Far From Home

After discovering that Quentin Beck was actually a villain, Peter goes to alert Nick Fury and Maria Hill, only to realize that's he's actually inside one of Mysterio's illusions. During the scene which is ripped right of the comics, Peter is tortured by these illusions as he is forced to watch MJ fall to her death and a zombie version of Iron Man emerge from Tony's grave.

The illusion only ends when Beck leads him to train tracks and lets him get hit with a bullet train. Even though it ends with Peter pretty injured and traumatized, it is still one of the most visually stunning sequences of any Spider-Man movie as some parts also have the viewers questioning what is real or not.

Battle On Titan

Tom Holland as Spider-Man in Avengers Infinity War

After getting stranded on Titan with Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and the Guardians, the team comes up with a plan to try and recover the stones. When Thanos arrives, they ambush him, with Peter repeatedly landing hits by jumping through Doctor Strange's portals. Eventually, they're able to restrain him while Mantis puts him in a trance so that they could attempt to take the gauntlet off.

Unfortunately, the victory was short-lived after Starlord angrily attacked Thanos, breaking him free from the trance and letting him get the gauntlet again. Unfortunately, this proved to be a grave mistake as this led to 'The Blip' - one of the most heartbreaking moments of the franchise.

Final Showdown

Spider-Man Far From Home - final battle

After Happy picks him up from the Netherlands, they fly to London where Mysterio is carrying out his final attack. Peter interrupts the attack by destroying Beck's army of drones from inside the illusion while wearing a brand new suit. After taking out most of the drones, Peter has a moment where he has to fully rely on his Spidey-sense in order to reach Beck.

After he does, Quentin makes one final attempt to shoot Peter by making himself, and the gun he was holding, invisible but Peter dodges the bullet. Beck then falls to the ground and dies as Peter makes sure all the drones are deactivated. Although Beck would end up getting the last laugh by framing Peter for his murder, it was still great to see him get a win and gain his confidence again after everything he had been through in the movie.

Airport Battle

Captain America Civil War - Spider-Man and War Machine Airport Battle

While Peter showed up earlier, the airport battle of Captain America: Civil War was the first real introduction of Spider-Man in the MCU. He enters the scene by stealing Captain America's shield and webbing his hands together.

The funniest moment comes when he goes to take on Sam and Bucky, managing to web them both up while they bicker with each other before attempting to take on Captain America one-on-one, who was outmatched by him in strength but managed to outsmart him. Later on, he was responsible for coming up with the Empire Strikes Back-inspired plan to take down Giant-manDespite being knocked out of the battle moments later by his hand, he put up a great fight and showed he could hold his own.

Passing The Guanlet

Spider-Man And Valkyrie From Avengers Endgame

In Avengers: Endgame, Peter got a lot of great moments after being blipped back like when he stopped Tony from being stabbed by Cull Obsidian before the two reunited. However, the best moment comes when Peter finds himself with the Infinity Gauntlet after having it tossed to him by Black Panther. He almost immediately gets charged by outriders before activating instant-kill mode.

While he does manage to take out a lot of them, he soon finds himself overwhelmed by them but manages to escape when Captain America throws Mjolnir for him to latch his web onto. He then hitches rides from Valkyrie on her Pegasus and Pepper in her Rescue armor before being knocked out of the sky and meeting Captain Marvel. Seeing Peter interact with so many different Marvel characters in the span of a few minutes helped make it iconic.
