Given that the last time the fans had seen Rocket Racoon was in Avengers: Endgame, it's not surprising that fans were thrilled to see him make an appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder. While it might have been brief, fans weren't too bothered by his lack of screentime since the events that the MCU isn't quite done with the former bounty hunter just yet.

It's quite interesting to see how increasingly popular Rocket has come over the years, especially since some couldn't help but notice that there has been an influx of memes including him. While some use him as a pop culture reference, others have decided to dedicate their time to capturing his personality as well. Overall, it can make for a very entertaining experience.

The recent teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has fans talking, with The High Evolutionary, Adam Warlock, finally appearing after being teased so many years ago. For some fans, however, none of that matters compared to the new Baby Rocket.

Baby Groot was a big sensation when in Volume 2 and many fans adored the Flori colossi - buying any merchandise that involved him. However, it looks like this is all about to change, with Baby Groot set to lose his place as the "cutest character in the MCU" now that the world has been introduced to caught Baby Rocket. As perfectly summed up in this meme, it does look like everyone's attention will focus on the baby raccoon for the next few months.

Taking Arm Strats

Fans of Falcon and the Winter Soldier created some great memes and they somehow managed to create another one, this time involving a reference to Rocket Raccoon.

Some might recall that Rocket actually has an interest in prosthetics. He tries multiple times to get prosthetic limbs off of people and even makes an attempt on Bucky's arm. Given that Ayo managed to disconnect it from the former Winter Soldier in the show, this meme jokes that Rocket would have seen an opportunity to either get the prosthetic for himself or end up asking the skilled Wakanda guard for advice on how she did it.

Rocket Reactions

Rocket Racoon is snarky and feisty, and can even be violent. However, he also loves his friends and his size makes him quite un-intimidating at times. In short, he is extremely relatable - and this hasn't gone unnoticed by MCU fans, such as this Twitter user, who points out how Rocket's array of emotions is something everyone has gone through.

The Twitter post shows four images, and they're all quite funny. The first one gives off major "are we there yet?" energy. The second and third are great for showing embarrassment, and the fourth shows Rocket baring his fangs (which is sure to be a useful internet reaction in a friendly argument).

Rocket Plays Wii

Rocket is an impatient guy. He's not the person to sit around and listen to warnings and explanations. Usually, this works out fine in the action-packed world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, this meme imagines Rocket in a far more domestic setting.

The Nintendo Wii was famous for its countless warnings and special procedures. It was the first time most people had played a game with motion controls. As such, a lot of people ended up not putting on their wrist straps and accidentally put a hole in their television. It's easy to imagine the impatient Rocket being one such person.

Rocket Admirer

Thor called himself the mightiest and strongest Avenger. Whether that's true is a measure of fierce fan debate. However, there's one big admirer of the God of Thunder's incredible power: Rocket Raccoon.

Although Rocket takes a much more critical attitude towards Thor later on in the movies, his love for Thor's thunder abilities never changes. Rocket is a guy who loves firepower in all its forms, after all.

Riding Groot

One thing Rocket does as often as he can is ride on others. He jumps onto the shoulders of bigger guys all the time so it's easy to imagine that Rocket would jump onto a crocodile. Given its green/brown color and muddy texture, it's probably not that different of a ride than Groot.

Of course, Groot is Rocket's primary mount. Whether it be Thor or a robot, he usually treats his other mounts like Groot. He hangs off of them just like they were his tree friend. In fact, it's easy to imagine treating a crocodile like Groot.

Double Meaning Meme

This meme actually has two meanings. Given everyone knows Rocket Raccoon and Groot's close relationship and the fact that the sight of the shirt in this meme causes Rocket to bare his fangs in protection for his plant-based friend, the first one is obvious. However, there's another meaning referencing one of Rocket's most hilarious lines.

When frustrated, Rocket begins having an anger fit. He then starts viciously punching the ground while yelling "you're making me punch grass!" Obviously, this shirt reminds Rocket of the embarrassing time he once had punching grass. It's not often a meme pulls double duty like this.

Get A Hold Of Yourself, Thor

For whatever reason, the Guardians of the Galaxy are now important to Thor's films as well. Their role in Thor: Love and Thunder have already been mentioned. However, this all started with Rocket Raccoon and Thor's relationship. While it began in Infinity War, it truly grew into something by the time of Endgame.

They were both separated from their groups and ended up grieving together, with the God also asking the raccoon to help him keep on the straight and narrow. While fans might never understood why Thor kept asking Rocket to keep slapping him (as this meme emphasizes), there's no doubt that it was a memorable moment.

Rocket Scares Tony

Source: the_incredible_memer on Instagram

This meme is based on one of the most hilarious scenes from Avengers: Endgame. It also shows that even post his character development, Rocket Raccoon is still a mischievous jerk. By yelling "Boom" during a dangerous experiment he completely humbled Tony. It totally turns one of the toughest Avengers into a scared child in front of Rocket's might.

This appends the famous "Leonardo DiCaprio Laughing" meme to Rocket. It shows that this is just a trifle to Rocket, despite affecting Tony so heavily. That's where the core of Rocket's identity as a prankster truly lies. Rocket doesn't care much about his jokes and the effect they have on others and that's a core part of his character.
