Actor Chris Hemsworth panics and screams while attempting to name every MCU movie. In the franchise, the Australian star portrays Thor, the “God of Thunder,” a character who appears in eight of the 22 films. The latest MCU production, Avengers: Endgame, marks the penultimate film of the MCU’s Phase 3

In Avengers: Endgame, Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor, with the titular superhero characters battling Thanos and attempting to gain control of the six Infinity Stones. Although Hemsworth has a supporting role in the latest installment, one that features a different Thor look, he’s previously been the primary focus of MCU films like Kenneth Branagh’s Thor and Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok. Hemsworth made his feature film debut in J.J. Abrams’ 2009 space opera franchise film Star Trek, the same year that his brother Liam made his feature debut in the Nicolas Cage film Knowing. In the past decade, Chris Hemsworth has evolved into a true Hollywood star, while Liam Hemsworth is best known for portraying Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games franchise. Their older brother Luke Hemsworth is also an actor and currently portrays Ashley Stubbs on HBO’s Westworld.

On YouTube, PopBuzz posted a video entitled “Chris Hemsworth Tries To Name Every Marvel Film In 1 Minute.” For context, the titular challenge comes during a junket interview for Avengers: Endgame, which was posted on the day of the film’s April 26 release, though the challenge portion has been making the rounds on Twitter. After discussing fan theories and “The Holy Chris Trinity,” Hemsworth attempts to name each and every MCU film within 60 seconds. The actor is informed that castmates had previously played the game, with Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, and Tom Hiddleston earning the highest score by naming 18 films. Hemsworth then wipes his brow, says, “Oh My God,” and begins strong by listing 15 consecutive films. The PopBuzz journalist then offers some hints, with one of them being “Robert Downey Jr.,” leading Hemsworth to remember the MCU’s first franchise film Iron Man, along with the two subsequent sequels. Ultimately, Hemsworth almost receives a perfect score, but fails to name Doctor Strange as the 22nd and final title. Watch the full PopBuzz clip below - the challenge begins at 2:06.

Produced for $356 million, the Russo brothers’ Avengers: Endgame has already topped $1.3 billion at the box office, making it the 13th highest-grossing film of all time. Later this year, Hemsworth can be seen in the upcoming 2019 films Men in Black: International, Dhaka, and Kevin Smith's Jay and Silent Bob reboot.

Over the course of one weekend, both Avengers: Endgame and Game of Thrones dominated pop culture. Unsurprisingly, MCU fans have been discussing Thor’s character arc, along with his unique look in the latest franchise film. As the Avengers: Endgame phenomena continues to spread across the world, the one-minute MCU title challenge will likely spread as well. How many can you name?
