The first episode of She-Hulk explores Bruce Banner's efforts to combine both sides of his personality, a significant event in the MCU that fans never saw. While there have been endless epic moments in the cinematic universe, some of the most exciting developments have happened off-screen.

Some of these moments have dealt with some terrific character development that happened in between movies. Others have hinted at thrilling adventures from the character's past. These missing moments are the kind of things MCU fans would have loved to see play out rather than just hear about.

Hulk Becomes The Champion

Mark Ruffalo as Hulk in Thor Ragnarok

Though he is one of the original members of the Avengers, Hulk hasn't had a solo movie since Phase 1 of the MCU. One of his unseen adventures that would have served as the perfect movie was when Hulk found himself on Sakaar.

Following the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Hulk goes out into space and is not seen for some time. Thor then reunited with him on Sakaar where Hulk has become the reigning champion of the gladiator games. Seeing Hulk deal with being on a new planet, developing his dominant personality, and finding fame would have been a fascinating ride for the character.

The Budapest Mission

Natasha and Clint in Avengers Endgame

Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton make up one of the best duos in the MCU. A recurring joke in their friendship was the unseen Budapest mission they keep referencing. Black Widow finally addressed certain aspects of the mission as well as a brief flashback.

However, there were also new aspects of the mission teased that make it even more exciting to see, like Natasha and Clint being hunted through the city for days. It was a pivotal moment that created this powerful bond between them and would have made for a great prequel movie.

Avengers On The Run

Steve Rogers with a beard in Avengers Infinity War

After the fall-out between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark, Steve abandons his shield and goes on the run after rescuing the other imprisoned Avengers from The Raft. The prison break alone would have been a fun thing to see, but it is these heroes becoming outlaws that is even more interesting.

Steve has always done the right thing, so it would be great to see him struggle with being considered a criminal. It would also be fun watching these heroes on the run while fighting crime in a vigilante sort of way.

Gorr Takes On Falligar

Falligar's body in Thor Love and Thunder

Gorr helped to cement himself as one of the MCU's most powerful villains in Thor: Love and Thunder. Gorr kills several gods in the movie, most of them happening off-screen. But the one that would have been the most exciting was his battle with Falligar.

Thor comes across the corpse of the massive and terrifying-looking god. Sif also explains that she was lured into a trap by Gorr when she tracked him to Falligar. It hints at a massive and violent battle more epic than anything in the actual movie.

Captain America Returns The Infinity Stones

Steve Rogers in his quantum suit in Avengers Endgame

Steve Rogers finally got his happy ending when he decided to stay in the past when returning the Infinity Stones in Avengers: Endgame. However, that entire time travel adventure sounds like it has so much potential for some incredible moments.

Many fans have pointed out that this mission would have meant Cap meets Red Skull when he returns the Soul Stone to Vorimir. And while that awkward reunion would have been enticing, it would have also been nice to see Steve reuniting with Peggy after she had thought he was dead.

Captain America Vs. Red Guardian

Red Guardian flexing in Black Widow

Red Guardian was a scene-stealing character in Black Widow who fans would love to see return in the MCU. This Russian super-soldier is designed to be the Soviet Union's answer to Captain America and their alleged face-off would have been epic.

Given the kind of person Red Guardian is and the questionable timeline, it is entirely possible that this fight never took place. But if it had, a battle between these two super-soldiers sounds hugely entertaining. It would also be nice to see if Red Guardian's claim that he won is true.

Kid Loki Kills Thor

The Multiverse Saga has allowed for various variants of existing MCU characters to be introduced which has been very exciting. Loki was the first project to really dive into this idea and featured several versions of the God of Mischief. But the least imposing one ended up being the most interesting.

A child version of Loki is introduced who the other variants refer to as their leader because he is the only one of them to have killed Thor. It is certainly a dark twist on the already complex character and suggests a fascinating, tragic tale.

Isaiah Bradley Vs. The Winter Soldier

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was the inclusion of Isaiah Bradley, a Black man who became a super-soldier following Captain America's supposed death. From his time as a super-soldier to the way his government betrayed him, Isaiah is a character who demands a prequel project.

But when Bucky introduces Sam to Isaiah, their shared past is brought up which also sounds thrilling. It is revealed that Isaiah and the Winter Soldier faced off back in the day, and it seems as though Isaiah won the fight.

The Creation Of Smart Hulk

While comic fans know Smart Hulk well, few of them thought they'd see him appear in the MCU. The battle between the two personalities of Bruce Banner and Hulk has been central to the character from the beginning. But following their loss to Thanos, Banner worked to combine these personalities and achieve the best of both worlds.

She-Hulk gives some more insight into this process but also makes it sound even more interesting. The reveal that Tony Stark was by Bruce's side throughout the process adds a touching and entertaining element to the whole thing.

Thanos Attacks Xandar

Thanos in Avengers Infinity War

When Thanos appeared in Avengers: Infinity War, the movie wasted no time in establishing him as a true threat. Not only did fans not get to see his attack on the Asgardian refugee ship, but it was also revealed that Thanos already had the Power Stone.

While fans wondered how Thanos would get the Power Stone which was locked away by the Nova Corps on Xandar, it is simply stated in a throwaway line that the Mad Titan attacked Xandar and took the stone. It suggests a massive battle between Thanos' forces and the intergalactic police force which sounds like a movie in itself.
