Warning: This list contains SPOILERS for Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has been in the MCU for five years and appeared in six movies thus far. During that time, has had brief run-ins with many other members of the MCU, and two notable collaborations in his solo films–one with Iron Man and one now with Dr. Strange in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Going forward into a potential new trilogy in the MCU, it’s expected that he’ll interact with more heroes in the future, and there are a few characters either currently set up or who will be set up in the near future who would complement the web-slinging hero in a team-up scenario.

Ms. Marvel

Spider-Man and Ms. Marvel have a lot in common. Both are relatively young superheroes and, though Kamala lives in New Jersey, both are based out of the New York area since Jersey is just a web swing away. With Kamala being more of a fresh face, Spider-Man could act in a mentorship capacity now that he’s been in the superhero circuit for some time.

It’s unclear what exactly will be done with Ms. Marvel but what’s confirmed so far is that she is somehow or another inspired by Carol Danvers of Captain Marvel fame, who Peter briefly met during Avengers: Endgame, and she'll appear in The Marvels

Ant-Man and Wasp

Being bug-themed superheroes, it seems like a no-brainer to have Spider-Man team up with Ant-Man and the Wasp. With the duo being suited to heist-type scenarios, it’s possible they could seek help from a certain web-slinging individual who can easily scale skyscrapers.

Peter also has a bit of a history with Scott Lang, as Spider-Man assisted in taking him down while in Giant Man form during the airport fight scene in Captain America: Civil War. While this pairing hasn’t happened quite so iconically as others, it’s still fertile ground for the MCU to work with.

Deadpool

Deadpool and Spider-Man have teamed up many times in the comics, and it may seem far-fetched but with the recent Fox acquisition by Disney and Marvel, Deadpool 3 is slated to be part of the MCU proper. Both are funny characters in their own ways, and even have similar costume designs–a bit of trivia Deadpool pokes fun at in his own movie.

Deadpool’s violence and crassness may have to be toned down for a team-up with the family-friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, but with Deadpool’s penchant for breaking the fourth wall, he’ll have a lot of material to work with concerning reboots, studio disputes, recasts, and so on.

Captain America (Sam Wilson)

Sam Wilson, A.K.A. The Falcon, A.K.A. Captain America now after the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, would be a great team-up with Spider-Man. The two have met before during the airport fight in Captain America: Civil War, where they were facing off against each other.

It would be interesting to see how they interact now after the respective changes they’ve gone through since then, as well as see how they do fighting on the same side. Based on their interactions in the comics and the brief banter they’ve had in the MCU, it seems Sam Wilson would make a good straight man for Spidey to bounce off of.

Human Torch

This is a classic team-up from the comics. Being the youngest member of the Fantastic Four, Johnny Storm became fast friends with Peter Parker, and the two have had many adventures together. How the Fantastic Four will be introduced remains to be seen, but it has at least been confirmed by Kevin Feige that something is in the works.

If they remain faithful to the comics, Johnny will find his home in the Baxter Building in midtown New York, so the two are bound to cross paths. Comic book fans would be pleased to see the duo zooming around New York City and getting into hijinks.

Kate Bishop

Kate Bishop is quickly becoming a fan favorite with the Hawkeye Disney+ series, and the pseudo-Hawkeye protégé has much in common with everyone’s favorite web-head. Both of these characters operate in New York City, and both are fledgling superheroes to a degree–though arguably Peter’s had more experience.

With Kate’s expert archery, access to trick arrows, and various other talents, the team-up could make for some interesting combinations in fights.

Shang-Chi

With it being the hit that it was, surely Marvel is looking to expand and have other MCU characters appear in a Shang-Chi sequel. While not from or currently based in New York in the MCU, in the comics, Shang-Chi is a regular member of Heroes for Hire, a group that consists of Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and other street-level heroes.

If the movies ever decide to take him there, it would be fun to have these two interact. Where Shang-Chi’s origins are more focused on having gone through years of discipline and training to acquire his skills, Spider-Man’s powers are more thrust upon him. This is an area where the two could learn from and bounce off of each other.

Moon Knight

Moon Knight is sort of like Marvel’s Egyptian-themed version of Batman but with more mental health issues. Soon to be portrayed by Oscar Isaac in the Moon Knight Disney+ series, Marc Spector is a sometime-detective who has been blessed as a champion of an other-worldly deity–a point that often comes under scrutiny due to his being an unreliable narrator as he suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder.

Both he and Spider-Man are agile and adept at hand-to-hand combat and with his glider cape and Spider-Man’s webs, both have effective ways of traversing the city, so the two are a nice fit. Additionally, Moon Knight is typically tied to the more mystical side of things in the MCU, which Spider-Man is no stranger to in the comics or in the movies.

She-Hulk

Typically in the comics, Jennifer Walters has a sense of humor that would jive well with Spider-Man’s, and if the promotional material is any indication, that’s the tone Marvel is going for with She-Hulk. While Spidey hasn’t had as many frequent run-ins with her as with other heroes, she has been a temporary member of the Fantastic Four, a group with which Spider-Man has been intimately familiar.

And she's had some notable storylines that could be adapted with Spider-Man in them. With She-Hulk being more of an on-the-ground heavy hitter, and Spider-Man being more agile, the two could have some entertaining fight scenes and set pieces.

Daredevil

Daredevil working with Spider-Man is a classic and frequent team up from the comics. They’re both acrobatic and agile, adept at traversing New York’s cityscape, and both are generally known for dealing with street-level crime. The two share a common enemy in Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin who’s made an appearance in the recent Hawkeye series.

And, the two have even met in Spider-Man: No Way Home where Matt Murdock makes a cameo appearance played by Charlie Cox as Peter Parker’s Lawyer. If there's a place Daredevil could show up next in the MCU, it's with Spider-Man. The seeds are well sewn for this team-up and if Marvel knows what they’re doing, they’ll follow through on it.
