Black Widow is still on the horizon, and talk has turned to the villain of the movie. With rumors now circulating that the popular theory of Rachel Weisz's character being behind the mask is actually false, people are even more puzzled about the Taskmaster.

The trailers seem to imply that he will be using his comic book skills of being able to replicate the moves and weapons use of other Marvel heroes. Therefore, here's 10 MCU fighting styles that we'd love to see Taskmaster use at some point during the film.

CAPTAIN AMERICA

Since Taskmaster has been seen with a shield, it only makes sense he'd be adopting some of the fighting styles of Captain America. While the Falcon version of the character would not have used the shield at that point in time, there's plenty of footage of Steve in battle.

The way in which he uses the shield like a frisbee both in defense and offense is truly remarkable and likely very difficult to copy. However, Taskmaster's photographic reflexes means he'd have no trouble going into battle with his own vibranium equipment.

BLACK WIDOW

It's understandable that the film would have Taskmaster replicate Black Widow at some point, and indeed we've even seen the villain watching back footage of Natasha in action. Her skills are almost unlike anything else we've seen in the MCU.

Her hand to hand combat is remarkable, but she's managed to match this with agility and a style uncommon amongst other heroes. There are moves from a variety of martial arts, and to parallel this against the villain would be fun.

SPIDER-MAN

Spider-Man is perhaps the most agile fighter on this list. In fact, many of his moves are based on his extraordinary acrobatics, something that Taskmaster might be able to copy thanks to his elite training and athleticism.

It could come in handy when fighting bigger opponents like the Red Guardian and might match nicely with some of the weapons in his use, including Cap's shield. It's an interesting style and one we'd like to see used in the upcoming motion picture.

BLACK PANTHER

T'Challa as the Black Panther

The trailers have also indicated that the character may have stolen some Wakandan technology and even be utilizing the claws that the Black Panther uses. His suit could also encompass some vibranium elements, as could the shield itself.

If he is to use this technology, then the Black Panther is a worthy opponent to study. He's one of the best fighters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe due to his years of training and the herb that grants him extraordinary abilities.

IRON MAN

Iron Man is a skilled fighter, even if he does rely on his armor to do a lot of the work. However, we don't know what kind of interface Taskmaster's suit actually has; it may include similar technology that aids him in copying different styles.

Therefore, it's only logical that the villain would look at one of the world's most successful heroes, trying to understand how Tony Stark manages to stand up against many fighters that are far more dangerous than him.

HAWKEYE

We've seen both pictures and footage of the Taskmaster using a bow and arrow, which only leads us to believe that he has watched back footage of Clint Barton in action. One of the original six Avengers definitely has some skills worth copying.

The bow and arrow can be surprisingly useful in a variety of situations and may be of interest to someone who is trying to be well rounded in combat. What's more, Taskmaster taking Hawkeye's skills would add a personal element when he battles against Natasha.

THOR

Thor is the one character on this list that has far less finesse than the others. While most of the Marvel Heroes have very specific fighting styles based on their weapons, equipment, and powers, Thor is simply a brawler through and through.

There's not a lot of technique to what he does, but he's still good in that kind of situation. Taskmaster would need to be prepared for anything, and if close hand to hand combat isn't getting the job done, Thor's style is the next best thing in a desperate situation.

WASP

The Wasp may be a surprising addition to this list, especially since we do not think Taskmaster will be utilizing wings or any Pym Particles (although we'd love to see that).

However, there's a graceful quality to the way that Wasp fights that isn't really used by anyone else. The way she glides, it's almost as if the battle is a dance. This is the kind of style that might put Taskmaster at an advantage, much like it does Hope Van Dyne.

WINTER SOLDIER

The Winter Soldier is one of the most experienced assassins and hand to hand combatants in the MCU. While his skills with his hands are almost unmatched, his skill with his weapons is exactly what Taskmaster would be interested in.

He is very talented with a knife in a difficult situation and also has some of the best firearms experience as well. If Taskmaster wants to use a gun properly or perhaps get some training on blade work, then Bucky is the guy to watch.

OKOYE

Okoye leading the Dora Milaje

The Dora Milaje are some of the fiercest warriors on Earth, and Okoye is the best amongst them. She has many fighting styles not commonly seen across the rest of the globe due to the cultural origins of them. Her spear work in particular is phenomenal.

Not only can Masters pick up some different weapon work therefore, but he can also study the fierceness of her fight. The Dora Milaje also move as a unit unlike most other armies, and this could be useful for Taskmaster to adapt for his own purposes.
