A Presidential race is on and some of the best–and worst–of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are running for office. Forget the political side of things for a moment. This is not about parties. This is about power, honor, respect, and influence but on a much larger scale.

When the ballots are cast, there will be a leader and a second in command. Who will you choose to lead the county? Will it be a savior or a villain? What about a mixture of both on the same ticket? Things can get really interesting.

Captain America (President)

Captain America in the MCU

Who wouldn't vote for Captain America as President of the United States? Cap is everything a leader should be and while the skeletons in his closet are minimal at best, he embodies what the country stands for. Cap is as clean as they come in the MCU.

Falcon (Vice President)

Falcon In Flight

Everyone needs that partner who will have their back no matter what. For some, offering the position to his childhood friend Bucky Barnes may be a great solution but throughout the years, it's Falcon who has been with Cap through it all.

Iron Man (President)

Iron Man in the MCU

If Cap is going to run for office, there is no way Iron Man is not going to throw his hat in the ring. Watching Iron Man and Cap debate would be fun. Stark could be a huge life for the countries defense as his technology is the best in the country. His selfish ways may lose him votes but Tony as the President would be fun to watch.

War Machine (Vice President)

Rhodey War Machine Baby Thanos Plan Avengers Endgame

Much as the same with Sam, Tony will need a person by his side who will follow him to the depths of the earth without a second thought. War Machine is and will always be loyal to Stark. Besides, War Machine is different from Tony in the fact that he gets along with everyone.

Thor (President)

Night King v MCU thor Cropped

Let's take away the whole they must be from the country or even this world requirement and let anyone who wishes to run, run. With Thor not having a home and a big majority of his battles taking place on earth, Thor is basically a resident of this great country. His father groomed him to be a leader.

Smart Hulk (Vice President)

Smart Hulk President MCU SR

There is only one person besides Jane who would be a perfect match for Thor and that would be Hulk. Their bond is much better than it was when they first met. While they still may go toe-to-toe, Thor and Smart Hulk resemble one of the best bromances in the MCU

Hulk is no longer the green-crushing machine. He's more mild-mannered which will work well with his new position of power.

Nick Fury (President)

Nick Fury pointing a gun in Captain America: The Winter Soldier

There are no Avengers without Nick Fury. By default, he should win any election in a landslide. He has the entire MCU at his disposal and command. When Fury calls, you come. While Fury is a tad rough around the edges and can be a bit secretive and sneaky, he does mean well most of the time.

Phil Coulson (Vice President)

Agents of SHIELD Phil Coulson

No can handle being Fury's righthand man as well as Phil Coulson. What makes this such an appealing Presidential Ticket is that both of these men have proven they can lead without the other. But put them together and they can't be stopped.

Mack (President)

Mack in Agents of SHIELD

When Coulson died, the mantle of Director was passed to Mack. While most believed that Daisy should have taken over, it was Mack who stepped up and began making the hard decisions. Mack is a pure human which should be an easy sell for the people. He's all heart and will put his normal life on the line to protect his people.

Daisy (Vice President)

Daisy in the MCU

Mack can make the tough decisions but even the most kind-hearted of heroes can lose focus. When that happens, the President must have a mate by his side who can bring the hammer down if need be. Despite her cool demeanor at times, she goes by Quake for a reason.

Gamora (President)

Gamora leaning against a wall

Gamora is often left off the list of MCU top characters as she plays the background on Guardians of the Galaxy. But Gamora was not raised to play second fiddle to anyone. Although not Thanos' biological daughter, Gamora still has her father's traits. She demanding and can be as deadly as her father.

Black Widow (Vice President)

Black Widow is not a character to be taken lightly. However, the reason she would be a good Vice President is that Natasha is a great soldier.

Letting Gamora lead the way will allow Natasha to set the tone behind the scenes as she has always done.

Killmonger (President)

Killmonger enters the thrones room in Black Panther

Marvel fans are still grieving over Killmonger. Was he a villain or foe? Killmonger still has shown the leadership abilities to get those behind him to follow. He walked into Wakanda and set a leadership tone in which he was supposed to play second fiddle.

Shuri (Vice President)

Shuri in Black Panther

It only makes sense that the White House will play home to Wakanda. While Killmonger is perceived as a villain, he did have a purpose. Shuri, on the other hand, is a fan favorite in the MCU. If anyone can keep Killmonger under control, it's Shuri. She's a genius when it comes to technology.

The Kingpin (The President)

Vincent D'Onofrio as the Kingpin

Evil lurks everywhere, even in politics. The Kingpin is exactly what his name suggests he is. He's a boss and a shot caller. Although letting him lead the way could be catastrophic, that still does not mean that he should be left off any ticket.

Wana Maximoff (Vice President)

Wanda Maximoff Scarlet Witch Marvel WandaVision

This is a tough ticket here. Kingpin is as sinister as they come and thanks to WandaVision, some fans are placing Wanda in the same category. While she has her purpose, Wanda will play a great role as Vice President. Pairing these two may be the ultimate balancing act between good and evil or the foundation for world destruction.

Captain Marvel (President)

Captain Marvel in the MCU

Captain Marvel is all about empowerment. Labeled as possibly the strongest Avenger, she can carry the load of a leader. Captain Marvel has just as much to protect in the county as any of the other heroes. Plus, she served in the Armed Forces.

Pepper Potts (Vice President)

Pepper Potts in the MCU

Pepper is a character who often gets overlooked. To understand her importance, look no further than Iron Man. It was Pepper who managed to keep Tony at bay. Pepper may not consider herself a leader by a second in command would fit her just fine.
