Both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Harry Potter franchise are arguably two of the biggest pieces of entertainment that this generation has seen, and with the expansiveness of the MCU comes the diverse personality traits that each character maintains throughout their time within the universe.
While many of the Marvel characters have juxtaposing personalities, if the characters were to attend Hogwarts, some people, like Scott Lang and Peter Parker, would be placed into the Ravenclaw house, along with many others.
Scott Lang
While Scott Lang is oftentimes sorted into the Hufflepuff house by fans, it is his wit and intelligence that would turn the sorting hat against the Hufflepuff house. Scott frequently gets overlooked and overshadowed by characters like Tony Stark and Bruce Banner when it comes to his intelligence, but it is important to keep in mind that is not the case.
Scott, like Tony, holds a degree in engineering from MIT, yet downplays his intelligence throughout his run in the MCU. On top of that, his humor is unmatched, making him a perfect member of the Ravenclaw house.
Bruce Banner
Unsurprisingly, Bruce Banner, with his soft-spoken, yet intellectual demeanor, would be sorted into the Ravenclaw house, no questions asked. Not only would the colors of blue and silver look excellent on Bruce, but he, most importantly, has the personality to match the Hogwarts house.
Ravenclaw's are often described as talented students, and anyone who can find the balance between controlling the Hulk inside of them, as well as the scientist, is quite talented, to say the least. Overall, Bruce would fit in just fine.
Matt Murdock/Daredevil
While Daredevil is often perceived as ambitious, resourceful, and clever, the character traits of the Slytherin, the sorting hat would ultimately lean in the direction of Ravenclaw house for the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.
Ravenclaws, while they have many positive character attributes, can also can be cunning, calculated, and overly competitive, quite like Daredevil. On top of his not-so-positive Ravenclaw traits, Matt Murdock is also an intellectual, graduating from Columbia Law School Summa Cum Laude.
Natasha Romanoff
Natasha is an intellectually underrated character of the Avengers squad as she is able to access a situation and come to a logical conclusion of what her next play should be. As such, she holds an incredible battle IQ, quite like many Ravenclaws.
One example of when Natasha showed off her Ravenclaw spirit was in Captain America: Civil War, where she initially sided with Tony Stark and then switched allegiance after hearing both sides of the same story. Her ability to make decisions and think on her toes is what has made her a valuable asset to the Avengers, and, if she went to Hogwarts, to the Ravenclaw house as well.
Karen Page
Needless to say, Karen is a diligent person. She takes methodical steps to obtain a solution, which is why she makes such an excellent journalist and the reason why she would fit into the Ravenclaw house. Unlike other Marvel characters, Karen not only analyzes a situation but also the context before deciding her position in a matter.
This came up during season 2 of Daredevil when the Punisher was on trial. Before jumping to the conclusion that he was irredeemable like the rest of the world painted him out to be, she took the necessary steps to gain information and background of the character before making her own judgment call, quite like a Ravenclaw would do.
Steven Grant
Steven Grant, the alter-ego of the Jewish mercenary Marc Spector, is without a doubt one of the nerdiest characters in the MCU. Not only does he have a vast and expansive knowledge of Egyptian mythology, but he is able to take what he has learned in the text and apply it to real-life situations both he and Marc are confronted with.
One of the key character attributes of a Ravenclaw is learning, and that is exactly the trait that Steven embodies. When trying to keep awake, fans can see Steven pouring over Egyptian texts. Even without analyzing his personality, fans can tell just by his studio apartment alone, with book shoved into every corner, that Steven is a Ravenclaw.
Loki
Loki always brags that he is smart both in the comics and the in the MCU to whoever will listen to him, and he is not wrong. Despite being arrogant about their intellect, Loki is able to solve puzzles and think out of the box, something that most Asgardians and Midguardians struggle with in universe 616.
In Thor: Dark World, fans learn that there is more than one way out of Asgard, and after living there their whole life, Thor, Odin, and Frigga all did not know this passage existed. Besides his intellect, Loki is considered both witty, cunning, and, sometimes, an excellent anti-hero character in the MCU, making him a perfect choice for the Ravenclaw house.
Peter Parker/Spider-Man
While Peter Parker/Spider-Man is often sorted into the Hufflepuff house by fans, it is his courage, wit, intellect, and calculated personality that would drive him into the Ravenclaw house. Spider-Man not only possesses the knowledge needed to best Doctor Stranger in the mirror dimension, but he is able to cure his nemeses that came from various different universes.
Aside from all of that, all around Spider-Man, in both the comics and the MCU, is a witty character, often seen cracking corny jokes around his friends and his role models. All of these attributes combined would give the Sorting Hat enough evidence to put Peter into the Ravenclaw house.
Doctor Strange
As someone who not only graduated from medical school but went on to be the best neurosurgeon and became Sorcerer Supreme, it is no wonder the Sorting Hat would place Steven Strange into the Ravenclaw house.
Not only does he have the physical and intellectual knowledge, but he is able to apply himself and the practices he has learned over time to his role as Sorcerer Supreme. On the flip side, Strange can also be cunning, calculated, prideful, judgmental, and overly competitive, negative character attribute that Ravenclaws have and learn to control, just like Strange does.
Rocket
While fans do not have an in-depth backstory to Rocket in the MCU yet, one thing is unquestionable, Rocket is both cunning, intellectual, and witty, making him a balanced Ravenclaw character. In Avengers Endgame, Rocket proclaims to Tony that Tony is only a genius on Earth, implying that Tony is both too arrogant for his own good and that he, Rocket, is smarter than Tony.
And, quite frankly, that might just be the case. Rocket is able to assist Tony and build a time machine as if he had built one before. Not only that, but he is able to think critically, something many Ravenclaws, like Rocket, are able to do with ease.
