When Black Panther was first introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: Civil War, he quickly proved himself to be one of the best warriors in the franchise. Fueled by the heart-shaped herb and armed with a bulletproof vibranium suit, T'Challa further proved his skills in Black Panther and his following appearances.
Although fans mourn the loss of Chadwick Boseman, they rejoice in looking back at his incredible work. T'Challa had been a part of some of the best action sequences in the MCU and is a large part of why many of those scenes are as memorable as they are.
Chasing Bucky
In Civil War, believing that the Winter Soldier was responsible for the bombing at the United Nations building and the death of his father, T'Challa tracked Barnes down in Romania. After escaping several SWAT members with help from Captain America, Barnes makes his way onto a rooftop where he is tackled by T'Challa.
When Barnes narrowly gets away, the chase then moves to the highway with Bucky stealing a motorcycle and Falcon joining the fight before they're all arrested. While he already appeared earlier in the movie, this the first time fans got the see T'Challa suited up as the Black Panther.
Bucky's Escape
While at the CIA facility, Bucky Barnes is reactivated by Helmut Zemo causing him to try and escape, attacking anyone that gets in his way. Several of the heroes try to stop him from leaving including Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Sharon Carter, and Natasha Romanoff. After managing to defeat all of them, he is then confronted by T'Challa wearing civilian clothes.
Unlike the others, T'Challa was able to go toe-to-toe with the Winter Soldier using his training and martial arts skills but while he does win the fight, Bucky disappears before he can be apprehended. Even though it is one of the shorter fights, it's still cool to see just how good a fighter T'Challa was even without the suit.
Airport Battle
Still hoping to get revenge on Bucky, T'Challa follows Iron Man and the other Avengers to an airport and finds himself facing off against Captain America's team.
While it was cool to see him confront Bucky again and have a hilarious interaction with Hawkeye, his best moment was against Captain America which showed just how evenly matched they were by having T'Challa's vibranium claws damage Cap's Shield. He was also the only one to successfully chase Steve and Bucky to the Quinjet before being tased by Black Widow causing him to stop in his tracks.
Meeting Nakia
The first real fight scene in Black Panther shows T'Challa coming to aid Nakia in the fighting traffickers she was hiding amongst while undercover. In it, T'Challa dives from his jet and throws 3 EMP kimoyo beads that attach themselves to the trafficker's cars and cause them to halt.
He then swiftly takes out the small army of armed soldiers, even slicing off one of the car doors and throwing it at one of them at one point, while using the cover of darkness. The fight gave us a glimpse of just how terrifying the character can be, especially when he can't be seen.
Warrior Falls
While it initially seemed that no other tribes would be fighting against T'Challa as most declined the offer to challenge him, M'Baku, the leader of the Jabari Tribe, came to battle him for the mantle of Black Panther.
M'Baku's strength and size gave T'Challa some trouble at the start, granting M'Baku an opportunity to stab him in the shoulder with his staff. Despite the injury, T'Challa is able to get the upper hand and defeats M'Baku but decides to spare his life. The fight showed that he was just as capable of a warrior, even without the heart-shaped herb in his system.
Casino Fight
After locating Ulysses Klaue, T'Challa, Okoye, and Nakia travel to Tokyo in order to bring him back to Wakanda. When they arrive at the casino where Klaue was supposed to be, T'Challa runs into discovers that the buyer is actually Agent Everett Ross on an undercover mission to capture the mercenary for the CIA.
Unfortunately, the mission was ruined when Okoye's cover was blown by one of Klaue's men leading to a shootout in the Casino. When T'Challa managed to catch up with Klaue, Klaue blasted him with the sonic cannon embedded in his new cybernetic arm, allowing him to get away.
The Wakandan Civil War
After being given the last heart-shaped herb that was stolen from the garden by Nakia, T'Challa interrupts Killmonger's plan to send out Wakandan weapons to the rest of the world. He first reveals himself by destroying one of the Wakandan aircrafts just as Killmonger attempts to get the shipments of weapons into the air.
This leads Okoye and the Dora Milaje to side with him while W'Kabi and the other Border Tribe members to try and kill him, resulting in a civil war. Using his upgraded suit which stores and reuses kinetic energy, T'Challa was able to defeat the border tribe and even one of the many war Rhinos summoned by W'Kabi.
Rematch Against Killmonger
Despite losing to him earlier in the movie, T'Challa got another chance to face Killmonger. After tackling Erik to prevent him from killing his younger sister Shuri, T'Challa and his cousin tumble down into Wakanda's underground railroad where he would get his chance at a rematch for the fight he lost earlier.
Since the system was designed to transport vibranium, it made their suits unstable, causing them to glitch on and off. After the two slash at each other for a while, T'Challa uses the instability of their suits to defeat Killmonger by stabbing him with one of his own blades.
Battle of Wakanda
In Avengers: Infinity War, after Vision is attacked and injured, the Avengers decide to bring him to Wakanda in order to have Shuri remove the mind stone and to protect it from the Black Order. T'Challa, the Wakandan army, and the rest of the Avengers then proceed to the field outside of the lab in preparation for war.
After opening the barrier to allow the enemies to enter the war zone, he and Captain America start running, leading the charge against the army of Outriders. At one point he even ends up using his charged up kinetic energy to land a devastating blow to the largest member of the Black Order, Cull Obsidian. Unfortunately, the battle ends with Thanos arriving and snapping him away.
Battle For Earth
The final battle of Avengers: Endgame saw the return of dozens of characters after being turned to dust in Infinity War. The portal to Wakanda was the first to open with T'Challa, Okoye, and Shuri walking out of it, leading the Wakandan army behind them.
Each character got a highlight moment in the final fight and T'Challa's came when he takes the Infinity Gauntlet from Hawkeye and attempts to make it to the van containing the time tunnel while fighting his way through Thanos' army before handing it off to Spider-Man. It was one of the most glorious returns.
