As much as fans love the action sequences, the drama, and the superheroes of the MCU, there's a gleeful moment when the main characters first kiss. What a good film franchise without some romance to spice things up? Over the past decade, the MCU has done a good job of creating romantic elements that don't overpower the main storylines.
Instead, it adds a bit of a mundane human-like quality. Superheroes deserve love just like everyone else. Maybe even more so. There have been more than a handful of first kisses that had fans aweing and clapping gleefully at the character finally getting together. Steve And Sharon
Fans felt a bit of romantic tension between Steve and Sharon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Steve tried to play it cool and flirt a little by offering her to use his washing machine. It was safe to say that there was something brewing. However, fans weren't too impressed by the possible romance.
After all, she's Peggy's relative. Steve and Sharon shared a short yet passionate kiss when she decided to help him, Falcon and Bucky get their gear from S.H.I.E.L.D. Fans either slightly cringed at the awkwardness or reacted the same way Bucky and Falcon did in the car.
Gamora And Quill
Fans were really rooting throughout Guardians of the Galaxy for Gamora and Quill to give in to their feelings. They're complete opposites. Gamora is a feared assassin, while Quill is a bit childish and goofy. Regardless, there was some romance brewing between them.
The big moment kind of occurs. Gamora expressed her inability to watch Ronan kill innocent lives, while Quill talked about his mother. He has her listen to his cassette player and sets the mood. T'Challa And Nakia
Audiences are very aware that T'Challa and Nakia once had a romance prior to the film. They grew up together so it was natural for both to develop feelings for one another. In Black Panther, despite not being together, it's obvious that T'Challa still cares for Nakia.
While the film didn't put a heavy emphasis on their romantic relationship, fans were more than happy to see them kiss in the end scene. T'Challa thanks Nakia for saving him and his family. She explains it's her duty to fight for who she loves. Then T'Challa swoops in for a kiss. Fans cheered as Nakia reciprocated his feelings.
Thor And Jane
Thor and Jane had a rocky relationship that sadly fizzled out by Thor: Ragnarok. Even though they had their heartfelt moments, their kisses are quite memorable. The couple kissed in the first film and in the second film. Both were passionate seeing as the first time they kissed was when Thor had to return to Asgard to deal with Loki.
The second kiss was more romantic. Thor had to explain to Jane how the nine realms work along with the convergence. All while touching hands and Jane couldn't stop gazing at Thor. Hence the second most romantic kiss shared.
Doctor Strange And Christine
Doctor Strange had a good life before his tragic accident. He also had a brief romance with another doctor named Christine. But due to Stange's obsession with his work, their relationship ended. After becoming a sorcerer, he goes to Christine for help after being wounded.
There is an emotional moment as Strange is trying to defend himself and Christine. They share a passionate and heartfelt kiss. One that is often given when the other is uncertain of their future. Also, the fact that Strange is unlikely to ever see her again.
Wanda And Vision
Wanda and Vision's relationship is one that fans really enjoyed seeing on-screen. They instantly had a connection to one another after his introduction in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Vision, having been made of an infinity stone, understood Wanda's inner turmoil with herself.
In Infinity War, they go off the grid and try to live a normal life as a couple. A sweet moment occurred when audiences see them kiss for the first time. Vision is feeling something odd from the stone and asks Wanda to tell him what she feels. She answers, "I just feel you." They stare at each other lovingly as rain falls outside and share a kiss.
Natasha And Bruce
Some fans may have not realized that Natasha and Bruce did share a kiss in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Their feelings for one another are complicated, to say the least. Banner refuses to give in out of fear of the other guy and the possibility of hurting her.
Natasha also struggles with the scars of her past when regarding her feelings for Banner. They know they can't live a normal life together. Fans only see them kiss once and it was worth it. Isn't young love great? Peter is the youngest Avenger and audiences see him deal with his crush on Liz Allen in the first film. But by the end, audiences see a crush develop with MJ. It only solidifies in the second film on their Europe trip. Fans found their interactions cute and sweet.

Tony And Pepper
Tony and Pepper have a unique relationship from the very beginning of the MCU. Pepper is his right-hand and is in charge of everything. No real romance happens in the first film but it does spark in the second. After so many years of working together, they don't deny that there are feelings between them.
Tony saves Pepper from Hammer's drones and land on a rooftop. Tony tells her how well she has taken care of him and goes into how to deal with the press. He then finally kisses her while bantering. Thankfully, they don't find it weird.
Steve And Peggy
Arguably one of the most tragic kisses in the MCU is between Peggy and Steve. It also happens to be one of the most joyous ones to watch.
