Once upon a time, Amanda Clarke lost her father, David, and when that tragedy occurred, she lost everything. Now that she's back in the Hamptons and living next door to the powerful Victoria and Conrad Grayson, she's going to get revenge on the people who took him down. Amanda is calling herself Emily Thorne, and she's incredibly determined to make the Grayson suffer.

Each main character on Revenge has their own motivation for the way that they behave, and they each have their own MBTI®. It's not easy to live in the beautiful world of the Hamptons, especially when everyone feels that they deserve more than they have, even if they seem to have it all.

Declan Porter: ISFJ

revenge Declan Porter

Gossip Girl fans will recognize Connor Paolo, who played Serena van der Woodsen's brother Erik on the popular teen drama. His role as Declan Potter on Revenge saw him portraying a sweet, gentle guy who has gotten romantically involved with Charlotte Grayson.

This character doesn't make it past the second season, but he made a big impression on fans before his death. His MBTI would be ISFJ or "The Practical Helper." He's nice to everyone, he wants to help, and he's a humble guy.

Charlotte Grayson: INFJ

revenge Charlotte Grayson

An INFJ or "The Insightful Visionary" might be more private than other people, but that doesn't mean that they aren't sweet and caring. Christa B. Allen's character, Charlotte Grayson, fits into this framework.

She learns that David Clarke is her dad, not Conrad Grayson, and it sets off a whole new worldview for her. She's much kinder than the rest of the Graysons, and she very much in touch with her emotions.

Nolan Ross: ENTP

revenge Nolan Ross

Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann) and Emily/Amanda are close friends, and they're working together to get revenge on the Graysons. He's the person who knows about her plan and who supports her along the way.

Nolan's MBTI would ENTP or "The Enterprising Explorer." Nolan is great with technology and this gives him a leg up when it comes to helping Emily with her revenge. ENTPs can figure things out that others just can't, and they're intelligent, quick thinkers.

Jack Porter: ISTP

revenge Jack Porter

Nick Wechsler's Revenge character, Jack Porter, and Amanda Clarke were close when they were young. By the end of the series, they're happily married and going to be much happier than they have been.

Jack is a logical guy, so it makes sense that his MBTI would be ISTP or "The Logical Pragmatist." He doesn't want Amanda/Emily to be involved with her schemes and even says that he's going to let everyone know what's going on if she doesn't stop and move on from her revenge ideas.

Ashley Davenport: INTP

revenge Ashley Davenport

Ashley Davenport (Ashley Madekwe) is just as much of a schemer as Emily is, although it doesn't seem like it at first. She appears to be a fairly nice, innocent girl who works for the Grayson family, but that's not the real her.

Instead, she's envious that Emily and Daniel Grayson are together, and she wants to be with him herself, which is exactly what happens in the second season. Ashley is an INTP or "The Objective Analyst." These personality types have a vision and figure out how to put it into practice, and Ashley is often looking at everyone around her, deciding what to do next. She doesn't trust people and is always one step ahead of everyone else.

David Clarke: ENFJ

revenge David Clarke

David Clarke (James Tupper) wasn't guilty of treason, but that's not what the world thinks, as the Graysons made sure to frame him for this fake crime.

RELATED: Never Have I Ever: MBTI® Of The Main Characters

David was an ENFJ or "The Compassionate Facilitator." He got involved with some truly evil people (the Graysons) and it was simply a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. ENFJs are good at teamwork and they can be counted on, and that was David, to a fault.

Victoria Grayson: ESTJ

Victoria Grayson revenge

When it comes to the Myers-Briggs® Personality Type of the biggest villain on the show, Victoria Grayson (played by Madeleine Stowe), would be an ESTJ or "The Efficient Organizer."

ESTJs know what they like and they're not scared of making others know that they expect things to be a certain way. Victoria is all about fabulous parties and having people be jealous of her lifestyle. She's definitely one to keep up appearances, although she hides a hidden pain as she loved Emily's father David Clarke.

Daniel Grayson: ESFJ

revenge Daniel Grayson

Josh Bowman's Revenge character Daniel Grayson is an ESFJ or "The Supportive Contributor." He doesn't really think for himself very much, as he has grown up in the shadows of the wealthy Grayson clan, and he is used to having anything and everything handed to him.

ESFJs are nice to others and family means a lot to them. This describes Daniel, who is all about his parents and the life that they have allowed him to leave, at least at the beginning of the show.

Conrad Grayson: ISTJ

revenge Conrad Grayson

Conrad Grayson (Henry Czerny) is the epitome of corporate greed. He's the CEO of his company, Grayson Global, and his hands aren't clean as he has been part of money laundering.

Conrad is an ISTJ or "The Responsible Realist." He's comfortable making decisions, he's all about tradition, and he's a very strong, tough person. ISTJS can be stubborn in a time of overwhelm, which describes how Conrad acts most of the time.

Amanda Clarke/Emily Thorne: ENTJ

revenge Emily Thorne

Emily VanCamp's Revenge character, Amanda Clarke/Emily Thorne, would be an ENTJ or "The Decisive Strategist."

Amanda/Emily decided that she wanted revenge and thought up a master plan. She's got everything figured out from the beginning of the show and the other characters are just pawns in her game, except for Nolan and Jack. She can decide which path to go down very fast, but she can be aggressive and tough, as she likes to be in charge.
