Claire Danes is credited for her amazing performance as teenage girl Angela Chase on the '90s drama My So-Called Life and for good reason, as she brings a sense of realism to the role. There are many teen shows about what it's like to go through that time in your life, but fans would agree that this show, which only aired for 19 episodes, is unique.

The characters are all different from one another and truly create a special ensemble. From neighbor and geek Brian Krakow to the coolest guy in school, Jordan Catalano, here are the MBTIs of the characters on My So-Called Life.

Amber Vallon: ENTP

Patti D'Arbanville plays Amber Vallon, who is Rayanne's mother. She appears in three episodes but most famously in "Other People's Mothers" when Rayanne gets drunk and Angela's mom Patty has to help. Amber is a hippie who honestly doesn't seem super well-suited to being a parent. She would rather eat appetizers than any other type of food, she lets Rayanne do whatever she wants, and she is the opposite of Patty.

When it comes to her MBTI, Amber would be an ENTP or "Enterprising Explorer" since she is "lively" and also someone who loves "independence." She wouldn't want Rayanne to depend too much on her, which can be tough to watch, but Amber does have some good qualities, as she's imaginative and interesting.

Danielle Chase: ISFP

Danielle Chase's mission in life is to become as cool as her big sister Angela. Played by Lisa Wilhoit, she's an insecure and impressionable young girl who adores her family. Danielle's MBTI would be ISFP or "Versatile Supporter." She sounds like the description of ISFPs: they "enjoy providing practical help or service to others, as well as holding firm to their values."

She doesn't have much say over her life since, of course, she's a kid, but she toes the line between doing what her parents tell her and sighing loudly every time. ISFPs don't like when their "freedom" is at stake and that is definitely Danielle. She's got the eye rolls and sighs down pat, that's for sure (but she's also adorable).

Brian Krakow: ISFJ

Devon Gummersall plays Brian Krakow, one of the most well-known characters on My So-Called Life. Brian just seems to always be around since he and Angela not only go to the same high school but live on the same street. He's kind and struggles to fit in.

Brian's MBTI is ISFJ or "Responsible Realist." He likes to do well in school and know where he stands with people (including Angela, who is sometimes nice to him but other times, not so much). He doesn't like "abandoning/deviating from routine" and he's "factual," "duty bound," and "dependable."

  Sharon Cherski: ESFJ

Sharon Cherski (Devon Odessa) and Angela used to be the very best of friends, but ever since Angela started hanging out with Rayanne and Rickie, that totally changed. It's realistic and also painful to watch the two former pals see each other at school (mostly in the bathroom).

Sharon's MBTI is ESFJ or "Supportive Contributor." She is "sociable and outgoing, understanding what others need." She's popular, involved in many extracurriculars, and cares about her family and friends. She has a really tough time in the episode "Stranger in the House" when her dad has a heart attack and she has to stay with Angela. Since she's a social person, she doesn't get why Angela just dropped her.

Graham Chase: ISTJ

Tom Irwin plays the sweet and endearing Graham Chase, wife of Patty and dad to Danielle and Angela. He is a foodie who loves to cook and is miserable working at Patty's father's company. Graham is definitely pretty out of it sometimes and feels weird about Angela growing up.

His MBTI is ISTJ or "Practical Helper" because he's a good father who takes care of his family. He tries his best to provide, even if it means redecorating the house and putting up wallpaper while he's unemployed. He is "responsible, loyal, and traditional." He is also very "sensitive" and "meticulous" (for example, he gets upset when Patty's mom rearranges the fridge).

Patty Chase: ISTP

Patty Chase (Bess Armstrong) is a good representation of a typical mother who wants the best for her children but has a tough time actually talking and getting through to them. She and Angela have quite the witty back-and-forth, like when Patty says, "Orange juice doesn't grow on trees," and Angela says, "It sort of does."

Patty is an ISTP or "Logical Pragmatist." She's a "troubleshooter" (like when she helps Rayanne out) and she is "realistic" and "self-determined." She does a great job running her dad's company and, while she's often stressed out because of her family, she does everything for them.

Jordan Catalano: INFJ

Jared Leto's portrayal of Jordan Catalano is famous and beloved. Jordan is the kind of kid who would be so successful "if he would just apply himself" (to use the phrase of many teachers). In fact, when a substitute teacher takes the school by storm in the episode "The Substitute" (co-written by Jason Katims, also known for Parenthood and Friday Night Lights), he can't believe that no one noticed that Jordan doesn't know how to read.

Jordan's MBTI would be INFJ or "Insightful Visionary." He's a creative guy who loves music, and if he could take school and life more seriously, he could accomplish so much. He sounds exactly like the explanation: "typically idealistic as well as imaginative and visionary. They are also sensitive and reserved." He also has a "quiet warmth," and while he isn't always the nicest to Angela, he has some growing up to do.

 Rayanne Graff: ENFP

A.J. Langer plays Rayanne Graff, Angela's new best friend who is as independent and bohemian as her mother. Her MTBI is ENFP or "Imaginative Motivator" since she likes "new people and experiences." She often encourages Angela to really go for it, from dyeing her hair to going out at night and seeing what will happen.

Rayanne has many of the ENFP traits from being "gregarious" to "spontaneous." She's an interesting contrast to Angela and Rickie since she doesn't seem to be concerned about anything, and those two are definitely worrywarts.

 Rickie Vasquez: INFP

Rickie Vasquez (Wilson Cruz) is so sweet that it can be hard to watch him struggle so much. He doesn't have much family and even ends up homeless for a while.

Rickie's MBTI is INFP or "Thoughtful Idealist" because he knows the way that things should be (he should have a loving home, for example) and he stays true to who he is. He is "gentle," "original," and "passionate." He is also someone who "values relationships" and he considers Angela and Rayanne to be his family (and he loves Angela's family, too).

Angela Chase: ENTJ

Angela Chase is the perfect depiction of a teen girl because she's open and honest about whatever she's going through. One of her best quotes: "People always say you should be yourself, like yourself is this definite thing, like a toaster or something. Like you can know what it is, even."

Angela's MBTI would be ENTJ or "Decisive Strategist." She starts off as a sweet, impressionable person who is taken in by Rayanne and Rickie, but as the show goes on, it becomes clear that she's the one that they look up to. She comes from a happy family and they want to be part of that, so they love coming over (and Rayanne loves eating all of the Chase family's cheese). Angela is "logical" and she can be "tough." She's also a "take charge" kind of girl.
