Matt LeBlanc will always be linked to his time on Friends but the actor has had a career revival of sorts in recent years. LeBlanc portrayed the lovable goofball Joey Tribbiani for a decade on the NBC sitcom, which spanned 236 episodes. Before his time on Friends, the actor appeared in a handful of series including TV 101, Top of the Heap, Married... with Children, and Vinnie & Bobby. LeBlanc was then cast in the life-changing role of Joey in 1994.

While working on Friends for a decade, it didn't stop LeBlanc from pursuing other gigs in the realm of film. The same year that Friends debuted, LeBlanc appeared in the crime film, Lookin' Italian. He then appeared in EdLost in Space, Charlie's Angels, and All the Queen's Men. In 2003, LeBlanc reprised his role as Jason Gibbs for the sequel movie, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.

Following the conclusion of Friends in 2004, LeBlanc continued portraying the role of Joey Tribbiani for the spinoff series, Joey. The NBC sitcom originally took over the timeslot that long housed Friends on Thursday nights. Joey followed LeBlanc's character as he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. The series featured a few of Joey's family members but none of the core characters from Friends appeared in the spinoff. Joey was cancelled during its second season due to poor ratings. LeBlanc took a break from acting following his stint on Joey.

The actor had a career revival in 2010 after executive producing the western, Jonah Hex. He then played a version of his self for the comedy series, Episodes, for which he appeared as a series regular until 2017. LeBlanc then appeared in the comedy, Web Therapy, alongside his Friends co-star, Lisa Kudrow. In 2014, the actor starred in the comedy film, Lovesick. He then turned his sights back to TV and began hosting the automotive series, Top Gear, from 2016 until 2019. His stint on the hit-British series lasted 24 episodes.

The former Friends star doesn't have any new projects coming up that have been announced. However, LeBlanc can be found on the CBS sitcom, Man with a Plan, which is set to return for its fourth season in 2020. LeBlanc serves as the lead character, Adam Burns, who must deal with raising his three children after his wife returns to work while also running a construction business with his brother. Man with a Plan is set in suburban Pittsburgh and also stars Liza Snyder, Grace Kaufman, Matt Cook, Kevin Nealon, Stacy Keach, Sherri Shepherd, and Tim Meadows.
