Some of MasterChef's most memorable winners, losers, and villains reunited recently to celebrate the show's 10th season with a pool party episode. Current contestants dealt with some serious pressure catering for beloved former cast members and celebrity chef guests.

MasterChef, which premiered on FOX in 2010, is a reality cooking competition show hosted by celebrity chefs and restaurateurs Gordon Ramsey, Aarón Sanchez, and Joe Bastianich. In the show, which is based on a U.K. series of the same name, amateur chefs compete in various challenges in an attempt to win $250,000. Over the past decade that the show has been on the air, there have been a lot of fan favorites, like Christine Hà and Dino Angelo Luciano, and some iconic villains, like David Martinez and Krissi Biasiello. Some of these former cast members and more reunited recently to celebrate the series' 10th anniversary with a fancy pool party.

In a recent episode of Season 10 of MasterChef, more than 100 former contestants - including several winners from the series - came out for a pool party celebrating the show's 10th anniversary. The current competitors on this season were then tasked with cooking the food for the pool party, which included several surprise celebrity chefs. Unfortunately, it didn't go too well for most of the competitors that night. There were some issues with the grills, and some of the meat was undercooked, prompting Ramsay to yell, "Biggest season ever, and most f*cking salmonella ever!"

Masterchef Pool Party 10th Season

There were also burnt buns, bland turkey burgers, and lots of yelling (as per usual). Just before the pool party began, Ramsay warned the group, "Do not ruin our party." Fortunately, despite the food coming out less than perfect, the party wasn't totally ruined after all. There were some edible items on the menu; they just took a while to get to partygoers. Plus, fans got to catch up with some of their favorites, like winner of season 5 Courtney Lapresi, who just released her cookbook; Tommy Walton from Season 6 who is getting love all over the planet for his cooking; and Brandi Mudd from Season 7 who is currently part of the MasterChef cruise. The group enjoyed cocktails in pool floats while the MasterChef competitors attempted to cook them the ideal BBQ meal.

The pool party episode showed touched on the success that being a contestant on MasterChef can bring to their lives and the opportunities that have since opened up for them, which is giving the current contestants even more incentive to do well in the competition. In the episodes since the epic pool party, competing chefs have had to cook a whole chicken, make a meal using Latin American staples, and perfect a fruit tart. Since MasterChef is known for bringing back old contestants and surprise celebrity chefs, this likely won't be the last time fans get to see some familiar faces this season. The pressure is on and the heat is up for the current contestants in the MasterChef kitchen.
