Week 3 of Fox' smash hit who-sung-it reality singing competition, The Masked Singer, revealed the identity of the all-American Eagle. The intelligent bird of prey is none other than Dr. Drew Pinsky, or more commonly known as Dr. Drew, an American celebrity Doctor.

On The Masked Singer, celebrities perform for an audience and four judges: Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke. At the end of each episode of The Masked Singer, the audience votes for their favorite masked singer, and the loser must reveal their identity by being unmasked. Each week, the celebrity performers reveal small clues through brief video clips.

Week three of the popular singing show brought more mystery, more clues, and one big reveal. This week, audiences were introduced to the last four costumed contestants - The Eagle, The Flower, The Penguin, and Mr. Fox. The Eagle performed "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" by Meat Loaf.  After battling it out with Penguin in the smackdown round, the judges ultimately sent Eagle packing after his rendition of "These Boots Are Made for Walking." That's when the Eagle was unmasked, revealing his true identity as celebrity doctor and TV personality Dr. Drew. He's known for his television talk shows: Dr. Drew On Call,  Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew, and Celebrity Rehab.

The clues Dr. Drew gave in his video were tough. In his video, the Eagle was seen teaching a class. He mentions something about "a serious health scare," and something about a "loss of a parent."  The Eagle said as a clue, "I have soared to great heights as the face of my field." Then he said, "I’m gonna prove I don’t just hang out with rockstars, I am one," - hinting as his show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. Because of the Eagle's fun personality shining through, fans thought it might be either comedian Tom Green or Will Ferrell. The judges were just as stumped and thought that he might have the legs of radio host Howard Stern but his voice sounded like TV host Craig Ferguson. Naturally, it was a shock for the judges and the audience to see the Eagle revealed as Dr. Drew.

The well-known celebrity doctor spoke backstage after he was unmasked, saying that being on The Masked Singer was unlike any experience he's ever had. He said, "I have no rock and roll fantasy, at least I didn't think I did, but when I put on the mask, it suddenly emerged." He said the experience allowed him to branch out and feel like he's "got a little more range now." Dr. Drew said he "could not do it if it weren't for this," referring to his costume and mask. He said his favorite part of the experience was "to be able to do something so different from who I am. That was fun." Dr. Drew continued, "It's not just being anonymous, it's being anonymous but becoming something else."

Dr. Drew AKA The Eagle joins the list of other masked celebrities that were voted out so far this season: videogame streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins as The Ice Cream, Olympic ice skater Johnny Weir as The Egg, and four-time undefeated boxing champion Laila Ali as The Panda. Fans will have to watch as the remaining disguised celebrities battle it out to be number one and try to guess who will be revealed next week.
