Zebra managed to survive the super six on The Masked Dancer and is one step closer to the finals. Fans have been split on who this dancer is, but we have been following the clues since his first performance to confirm his identity.

Zebra has excelled at Latin-style dance moves this season. Combining that fact with his small stature, many had guesses that included Saved By The Bell star Mario Lopez, or various Latin singers, including Enrique Iglesias. We instead thought it pointed to someone more known for taking hits than making them. As the weeks went on, clues sent others into the ring with us in suspecting Zebra might be a famous boxer. However, which boxer is still up for debate. Still, we're sticking with our original prediction that Zebra is boxer Oscar De La Hoya.

Last week, the K.O. clue led most to what we already knew – that Zebra is a boxer. Zebra said he had two left feet before he was Zebra. This is a dead giveaway to boxing fans. The Golden Boy is a left-handed boxer who also uses an orthodox stance, in which the left foot is forward, which is traditionally used by right-handed boxers. There was a graham cracker with an E to represent a Grammy. Though some might find it surprising, the famous boxer has a Latin Grammy. The number 99 was on the dancer's jerseys. In 1999, the fight between Oscar De La Hoya and Felix Trinidad set records for being one of the biggest pay-per-view events in history. This was surprising because most large pay-per-view boxing events were heavyweight fights.

Zebra said he has acted before, and the boxing star has also appeared on the small screen a few times in both the show Arli$$ and George Lopez's show by the same name. He said he's known for a hook, which is, of course, a boxing term. A ZEO plate was shown, and De La Hoya is, in fact, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions. There have been clues to athletes represented by Golden Boy, like the UFC clue for Tito Ortiz or the cinnamon clue for Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (canelo is cinnamon in Spanish). He spoke of helping mothers, especially those who can't help themselves. This fits with the 47-year-old athlete's charity goals. He founded a cancer center in his mother's name, the Cecilia Gonzalez De La Hoya Cancer Center, as well as the Oscar De La Hoya Labor and Delivery Center, and the Oscar De La Hoya Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Both "word up" clues of "comeback" and "champion" apply to the boxer's career, as well as the references to his specific boxing weights. There were various clues pointing to his name, including several Oscar award winners and an Oscar Mayer hot dog. His Olympic gold medal gives the four we know this cast has won when combined with our pick for Cotton Candy, Gabby Douglas, who has three gold medals He also gives us the final remaining Grammy nomination to go with Cricket, who was revealed to be Brian McKnight, and Disco Ball, who was revealed to be rapper Ice T. After their Grammy nominations, we are two short for the season total of 20. Since our prediction for Exotic Bird has one grammy nomination, Zebra's was all we needed.

Zebra had a clue his first week of a poster that said "Zebra for Mare." He said even the President knows his name. As we pointed out then, not only has De La Hoya talked about running for President in the past, but he also once accused former President and reality star Donald Trump of cheating at golf. There have been many mentions of where Zebra grew up, talking about it being a rough neighborhood. This fits with the boxer's past growing up in East L.A. Another early clue was the number 11, which clearly is a nod to the boxer's 11 world titles. There are more than enough clues that point to boxer Oscar De La Hoya as Zebra's alter ego.
