With Group B of The Masked Dancer set to return for a second performance, fans are still trying to guess the identities of the remaining four secret celebrities. We've combed over the clues for Cotton Candy and have linked them to a popular athlete.

In week two, group B took the stage with five very different performances, none more unexpected than that of Cotton Candy. The petite star blew fans and judges away with a high-risk aerial dance routine. During the rehearsal, she took a fall from a lyra hoop suspended above the stage, making it clear she was performing without many of the safety measures the average person would take. This strongly points to someone who has dance experience and is comfortable swinging around in the air. Some saw this and the song choice as clues pointing to popstar P!nk. The clues, however, just don't line up with the singer. Other fans suggested the size and build of Cotton Candy fit well with a professional gymnast. Gymnasts obviously have no fear of flying high, and the dance moves used in floor routines also provide the dance background displayed by Cotton Candy.

The question, of course, is which famous tumbler is hiding behind the rainbow sugar costume. Many think Simone Biles is the gymnast in question. It's easy to understand how they got there. Cotton Candy's initial clue given on Instagram was that she once took a Christmas vacation on the ocean for the holidays. There are plenty of pictures and articles that mention Biles's family vacation to Belize in 2016. She would also fit the small height of Cotton Candy and would account for all four of the gold medals found in the stats for this season's competitors. However, we've found another popular gymnast who fits those clues and many of the others given. We believe Cotton Candy is Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas.

The vacation clue specifically said the vacation was "on" the ocean. In 2012, Douglas spoke of her family's plans to spend Christmas on a Caribbean cruise. Douglas fits the size and build, but only accounts for 3 of the 4 gold medals. This doesn't rule her out – it just means another dancer would also have one gold medal. The clues given in week two are where we believe it becomes clear Douglas is a better fit for Cotton Candy. While the bowl of Cornflakes cereal could be either gymnast, as both had a special edition box of the popular cereal (Biles in 2016 and Douglas in 2012), the other clues don't fit Biles well. The English breakfast points to the 2012 Olympics in London, which was where Douglas won her first Olympic gold.

A cupcake with lips and eyelashes on it pointed to makeup and/or baked goods. This works well with Douglas, who did a collaboration of lip colors with a makeup company that happens to be called Beauty Bakerie. The biggest clue, however, was a more personal one. Cotton Candy spoke of having to move in with another family to chase her dreams. At 14, Douglas moved in with Travis and Missy Parton in Iowa to train. One of their four daughters was also training there and Douglas's own family was unable to leave Virginia. On their own, the clues are pretty convincing, but together it seems this mystery is solved. It's pretty clear Cotton Candy is none other than Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas.
