Tonight on The Masked Dancer, group B returns for the second week in a row, including the glamourous Moth. Fans are convinced that Moth is Monica Lewinsky, but we disagree, and we've used the clues to connect her to a famous reality tv star.
Moth performed for the first time on The Masked Dancer during its second episode. She lined up her skills for a country dance number to "Boot Scootin' Boogie" by Brooks and Dunn. The judges pointed out that she appeared to be very tall. While she was wearing heels, they were not enough to make an "average height" woman anywhere near Moth's height. She appeared to be as tall as host Craig Robinson, who measures a solid 6'2". Her dancing was fun but nowhere near the level of a professional or trained dancer. She also didn't seem to be as comfortable performing as many of the other contestants.
These factors combined with Moth stating that she'd gone from a regular person one day to making headlines with the President the next, which seemed to make the Monica Lewinsky guess a fairly solid one. Fans and judges appeared to agree with this prediction and we can't blame them. The clothing clues, including a dress that just so happened to be blue, made a very strong argument for Lewinsky. However, we think that the argument was actually too strong. It seems more likely that the blue dress was a red herring. Lewinsky's height of 5'6" doesn't seem tall enough (even with heels) for Moth. We think the dress points to another kind of dress, and that the President clues indicate another kind of connection. We think Moth is The Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault Newman, who goes by her first name, Omarosa.
Omarosa has been on various reality TV shows, including Say Yes to the Dress. This would explain the clothes and dress clues. She has a long history with the current President, former reality TV personality Donald Trump. The 5'10" star Omarosa first rose to fame after her appearance on his show, The Apprentice. More recently, she was employed by the Trump Administration, where she worked in the Office of Public Liaison. After her departure, she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and spoke about her time there. She also wrote a book detailing her tenure there, which fits the clue where Moth was holding a magazine about her tell-all book. This also makes her a fit for images of the Capitol and the White House.
The strongest of the clues given was a painting of Moth-er Teresa. Our first instinct was to tie that clue to the religious nature of her current husband's chosen profession. Omarosa is married to John Newman, senior pastor of The Sanctuary at Mt. Calvary. There is, however, a much more direct link. Her mother's name is Theresa, which is a solid fit with a Mother Teresa clue. The other very solidly linked clue is when she talked about having gone through something very traumatic. The Ultimate Merger star lost her fiancé, The Green Mile star Michael Clarke Duncan, when he passed away following complications from a sudden heart attack in 2012. Omarosa had to perform CPR on the actor while waiting for emergency medical assistance. It appears that the clues are all guiding us to the same place... Omarosa Manigault Newman is Moth.
