Marvel's Midnight Suns has finally dropped for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox X/S, with the Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One releases still in the air. Players can join some of the Marvel universe's best heroes in defeating an all-new threat as the Hunter.

Considering the game is a tactical RPG, it may be a surprise that it includes gift-giving like Stardew Valley. Gifts help the Hunter increase their Friendship Level with a hero and unlock more abilities.

Beloved Gifts for Marvel's Midnight Sun Heroes

Marvel's Midnight Suns Music Box (A Little Girl's Dream) Rare Gift

There are three tiers to how much a hero in Marvel's Midnight Suns will like a gift. Players will want to avoid Disliked gifts at all costs. It's best to save a gift until it can be given to a hero who will Love it, or at least Like it. Players can find gifts in three ways; searching the Abbey, purchasing them from the gift shop, or crafting them in Agatha's cauldron.

Over time, Marvel's Midnight Suns will likely release more DLCs with additional heroes. However, this guide will focus on the heroes within the main game, such as Captain Marvel. As a general rule, when giving gifts, players should take into account the gift's description and give it to someone whose personality and backstory best fit this gift.

Due to the limited number of gifts a player can reward in a day, this list does not include every gift combination. However, players can look at the context clues of a gift to determine if it would be a good fit. Comic books typically go to the character they discuss. Common gifts may be Liked, but they are not Loved. The higher a gift's rarity, the more Friendship XP the gift rewards. Legendary gifts are the best, but only Loved by one hero. For example, despite no romance in Marvel's Midnight Suns, Iron Man will love it if he can get his hands on the Iron Man Fanfic Anthology, which is certainly not child-friendly. As more players pick up Marvel's Midnight Suns, the full gift list is sure to come to light.
