Marvel's Kevin Feige voices a Thanos knockoff in an Avengers: Endgame parody for an upcoming episode of The SimpsonsThe beloved animated series has taken on a multitude of movie parodies over its unprecedented 30-year run but has yet to set its sights on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kevin Feige has been the president of Marvel since 2007, ushering in a veritable MCU superhero renaissance that culminated in the grand finale that was Avengers: Endgame.

It makes sense that Feige voices a villainous Thanos-like character in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, titled, "Bart the Bad Boy." The episode, teased with an epic Avengers/Simpsons parody poster, features Bart harnessing the power to potentially spoil a highly anticipated superhero movie before it premieres. Bart accidentally sees the film, a parody of Avengers: Endgame before it hit theaters, and harnesses his powerful fore-knowledge to his advantage with hilarious effect.

In the preview clip from Fox, posted to YouTube, Feige voices Chinnos, a Thanos parody who threatens to destroy the world with his inevitable doomsday app. Feige does an admirable Josh Brolin-esque Thanos voice. However, the clip is careful not to reveal if the audience in the theater watching Chinnos had the movie spoiled by Bart's antics beforehand. Check out Feige's take on Thanos below:

Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo also appear in the episode, playing stressed movie executives desperate to prevent Bart from spoiling their film. The Simpsons have had plenty of famous guest stars, and the inclusion of the Russos and Kevin Feige are sure to make for yet another memorable episode. After all, perhaps if the real MCU Thanos thought to create an app to destroy the world, he might've actually succeeded in his evil mission to wipe out half the life in the universe. The animated series always does a fantastic job of keeping up with the times (and has an uncanny ability to predict future real-life events.)

The Simpsons thirty years and counting are, in part, due to the show's ability to keep up with the times in a comical manner. While some fans have said that the show should end its run due to its steady decline in quality, many still tune in to watch every week. Perhaps not so coincidentally, both The Simpsons and Avengers: Endgame are available to stream on the Disney+ app (although, many fans were upset the app messed up some of the show's jokes due to the skewed aspect ratio.) Despite issues, The Simpsons are still going strong and likely will be for years to come. "Bart the Bad Boy," looks to be another example of a classic Simpsons parody, with a fun MCU twist.
