One creative player managed to recreate several iconic images from the Marvel Cinematic Universe inside the game Marvel's Avengers. The action role-playing game features all of Earth's Mightiest Heroes as they take on a brand new adventure. These iconic heroes can be customized and traverse a massive, open world to complete various missions, upgrade their characters, and even earn new cosmetics.

Cosmetics for the Avengers have been a massive aspect of the game's DLC going into its second year. Developer Square Enix has been adding the costumes that the Avengers are known for from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Among those costumes that were added to the game were Thor and Spider-Man's MCU outfits, and Hawkeye's costume from the MCU film Age of Ultron. Players love the ability to play fights while looking at the version of the character that they know from the cinematic universe, taking those characters and re-imagining them in new situations that have not yet been put to film. One player decided to go the opposite direction and recreated some of the MCU's most iconic moments.

Redditor SpirosOntic has shared several images that were created inside Marvel's Avengers using the photo mode feature. Among the images SpirosOntic recreated were the infamous Cap versus Iron Man image from Captain America: Civil War, Natasha comforting the Hulk and the Avengers leaping into action from Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Iron Man's first meeting with Thor from The Avengers. Although they may not be perfect recreations of these iconic moments, the fact that SpirosOntic was able to get so close using Marvel's Avengers shows just how true the game can be to the movies.

SpirosOntic's creations are certainly impressive and highlight the freedom that Marvel's Avengers offers to its players. Photo modes are becoming increasingly common in open-world games, allowing players to capture and share unique moments or content that other players would normally not experience. This feature has also become a tool to players who want to use their favorite game as a medium to create something, whether it be a brand new art or recreating an iconic scene from a movie, television show, or even another game.

As Marvel's Avengers enters its second year, fans are eagerly awaiting what new content is set to be added to the game via DLC. Square Enix has already teased that there is a roadmap in development for additional content that will be added to Marvel's Avengers in 2022. When players will be able to get their first glimpse at that roadmap and the upcoming content, however, is anyone's guess. For a game that had such a rocky launch as Marvel's Avengers did, seeing that the game is still going strong and releasing new content to players a few years later is encouraging to see.
