The newest Marvel's Avengers cosmetic inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hawkeye's outfit from Captain America: Civil War, is being added as a new Shipment item. Crystal Dynamics' multiplayer Marvel title lets players choose between a varied roster of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, each coming with their own unique playstyle and cosmetic items. Marvel's Avengers' MCU outfits have received praise from fans, with each hero's live-action appearances faithfully translated into the game.

While many fans are impressed by Marvel's Avengers' authentic Marvel Cinematic Universe outfits, the game's microtransaction system has been highly criticized. Since launch a majority of the title's cosmetic skins, including the coveted outfits inspired by the MCU, have been exclusively available from the in-game Marketplace. This digital storefront only accepts real-world currency, with some skins costing players up to $14, which forces gamers to pay exorbitant prices if they want to own every MCU-inspired cosmetic. However, Marvel's Avengers recently added a new way for players to acquire cosmetic items purely through gameplay. The recent Marvel's Avengers update added Shipments, which are purchased using currency earned during gameplay and have a chance to contain a rare specialty item.

Arriving with the title's new Shipment, Marvel's Avengers (via Twitter) is adding Hawkeye's Captain America: Civil War Outfit to the game. The MCU's epic 2016 installment featured a tense conflict between Captain America and Iron Man, with a large cast of heroes appearing to support either side. Hawkeye came out of retirement to fight alongside Captain America, donning a new live-action suit distinctively featuring one short sleeve and one long sleeve. Marvel's Avengers' latest MCU addition will be the new Shipment's speciality item, so fans will be able to earn the cosmetic between January 6 and February 3.

Marvel's Avengers' 2021 roadmap was concluded in November, leaving fans in the dark about the live-service superhero title's future. However, a Marvel's Avengers leak suggests She-Hulk DLC is currently in development and will be announced in the near future. The rumor recently claimed that voice actress Krizia Bajos would portray the game's version of the powerful green heroine, and Bajos potentially supported the claim by responding to it on social media. Marvel's Avengers has had difficulty finding its footing since its 2020 launch, so engaging new content is essential to building up and maintaining its playerbase.

Adding to the game's collection of faithful MCU fashion, Marvel's Avengers has perfectly translated Hawkeye's Civil War outfit into the game. The suit's distinct single-sleeve design stands out amongst the archer's other live-action attire, and the purple coloration gives the design a distinctly comic-accurate feel. Hawkeye's Civil War suit will also be obtainable through Marvel's Avengers' new Shipments system, meaning fans can get their hands on the stylish cosmetic without spending their actual money.
