The next Marvel's Avengers outfit inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Black Widow's uniform seen at the end of her recent solo film. Crystal Dynamics' multiplayer superhero simulator takes inspiration from Earth's Mightiest Heroes' long comic book history and their modern movie adaptations. Marvel's Avengers' MCU costumes have become frequent and important pieces of new content, with the skins skillfully recreating designs from various films.

While Marvel's Avengers has been criticized for its pricey microtransactions, the game has received praise for its authentic Marvel Cinematic Universe skins. After the game's release, these cinematic cosmetics were a highly-requested feature, with Crystal Dynamics eventually announcing their addition to the game. Over the last year, many MCU skins have been added to the Marvel's Avengers Marketplace, pulling from films such as Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Black Widow in particular has received an abundance of costumes, each reflecting Scarlett Johansson's portrayal of the character on the big screen. In July, Marvel's Avengers added Black Widow's new movie outfit, a white stealth suit used for much of the film, and only two weeks ago, Natasha Romanoff's Avengers: Infinity War suit was introduced as well.

Marking the heroic super spy's fourth MCU skin, Marvel's Avengers has revealed Black Widow's second costume featured in her 2021 solo film. While the white suit worn by Natasha Romanoff for the first half of the film is already in the game, this new outfit reflects the black, comic-accurate attire seen in the film's climax. The dark tactical gear features gold highlights on the bracelets and belt, paying homage to the agent's traditional comic book design. The upcoming skin will also give Black Widow a film-accurate braid, which increases the authenticity of the digital recreation. Black Widow's fourth MCU skin will be available in the Marvel's Avengers Marketplace on December 30.

Despite the high praise for Marvel's Avengers' MCU skins, the game's Marketplace system has received considerable criticism since the game's launch. In total, all Marvel's Avengers cosmetics cost thousands of dollars, with a single MCU skin typically costing $14. The game's Marketplace only accepts Credits, a currency that can only be earned through gameplay in limited amounts and must otherwise be bought using real money. While Marvel's Avengers' Units also serve as currency and can be earned through gameplay, Marketplace items such as MCU costumes cannot be bought with Units.

Black Widow is one of the most important and beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe characters, and this admiration is reflected in Marvel's Avengers' large number of skins. Romanoff now possesses more MCU skins than any other character, including two different designs from the same film. While fans adore the character's white costume, the black stealth suit seen in Black Widow's second half is an amazing, comic-accurate addition.
