Crystal Dynamics has revealed the next movie-inspired outfit for Marvel's Avengers, this time putting Tony Stark in the spotlight with an all-new Iron Man outfit based on the 2008 movie, Iron Man. Marvel's Avengers has had a controversial time since its release in 2020, but the game is ramping up with content expansions and new DLC, including the recently-released Marvel's Avengers: War for Wakanda story.

Marvel's Avengers released to mixed reception, with many criticizing both the gameplay and online live-service elements of the multiplayer. Despite controversies over server stability and overall game polish, the title's campaign, starring Kamala Khan as Ms. Marvel, generally impressed players, as has the Black Panther expansion which launched earlier this summer. The game is in continued development, adding fresh content and new features for Marvel's Avengers fans to get stuck into, with more to look forward to in the future.

Announcing the news across social media, Marvel's Avengers has shared a look at the 2008 Iron Man outfit. Inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the classic suit will be familiar to many, and will likely be a popular skin for fans of the game. Officially titled "Iron Man's 'Marvel Studios' Iron Man," the outfit will be available via the Marvel's Avengers Marketplace beginning September 23, though the announcement doesn't yet declare the price tag. Previous MCU skins have cost up to 1400 credits, which is likely what the Iron Man suit will be available for.

This isn't the first time that Marvel's Avengers has added Marvel movie tie-in content to the game. To celebrate the release of Black Widow earlier this year, Crystal Dynamics released a movie version of Black Widow's iconic costume, replacing Natasha Romanoff's typically black outfit with the now-iconic white seen in the film. Black Panther MCU suits have also been introduced to the game. Players can likely expect even more Marvel movie content in the future, though the next costume for Marvel's Avengers has not yet been revealed.

Marvel's Avengers continues to go from strength to strength, offering new stories, quests, missions, and outfits for players to live out their Marvel fantasies. The game has seen a new surge in player numbers thanks to the release of the August War for Wakanda expansion, which stars God of War actor Christopher Judge in an all-new take on the character of Black Panther. While the next big game expansion has yet to be announced, it's believed it could introduce the Scarlet Witch to Marvel's Avengers.
