Both Black Widow and The Last Of Us Part II's Abby are women not to be messed with, and whether it's a coincidence or a great casting choice, Abby and Black Widow from Marvel's Avengers are voiced by the same badass woman, who says that Black Widow could take Abby in a fight.

Abby is one of The Last Of Us Part II's alternate protagonists, who is on a mission of vengeance and is part of a militia. She is a strong woman, physically and mentally, and the character as well as her voice actress has gotten a lot of hate on the internet for not looking feminine enough, while she lives in a post-apocalyptic world of terrible zombie creatures that could be around every corner. Black Widow, on the other hand, is a superhero and one of the founding members of the Avengers. Having faced androids and gods alike, she is more than capable of keeping up with the boys when they are called upon to save the world.

GamesRadar spoke with the voice actress behind both strong characters, Laura Bailey; naturally, one of the topics that came up was who would win in a fight: Black Widow or Abby? Bailey's first question was whether Black Widow is allowed to use all her gadgets, which really gives credit to the strength of Abby, who has nothing to fight back with but her wit and strength, at which point it was decided it would be a fight with no weapons. At this, Bailey answered that she thinks Black Widow would still come out on top, although concedes that Abby "could definitely do some damage." However, "the years and years and years of training in a different environment" that Black Widow has, it gives her an edge on Abby, Bailey concluded.

While Abby would doubtlessly have the guts to take on a member of the Avengers, Black Widow is a near-superhuman that faced an Infinity Stone-wielding Thanos while having no powers herself, so it's fair to say she's likely a little braver than her The Last of Us Part II counterpart, as well. She is also a former SHIELD spy, and her pure skill lays to rest the various villains that make the mistake of underestimating her, as well as the hundreds of henchmen that she has done away with throughout her career in comics and film. Granted, Abby has faced some horrific enemies herself, like Clickers and the Rat King monster, but to face Natasha would be quite something else.

Abby is a tough character and definitely a force to be reckoned with in her own world of The Last Of Us Part II, but Black Widow is simply in an entirely different league of warrior, fighting alongside the most powerful heroes in the galaxy. When Marvel's Avengers comes out on September 4, players will be able to harness all of Black Widow's abilities and legerity to overcome the sorts of superpowered battles that Naughty Dog's more realistic approach would never consider for its games.
