In just a few days' time, Marvel's Avengers will unleash Captain America's first Avengers suit from the MCU as an all-new skin. Marvel's Avengers featured several Captain America costumes out of the gate, quite a few of which were color variants for the default suit he dons in-game.

Pre-order costumes like the Front Line attire counted among fan favorites, along with the Protector outfit that players can unlock through the cosmetic vendor. Additional suits for the First Avenger have gone live since launch, including the costume Chris Evans wore in Avengers: Endgame. Earlier this summer, developer Crystal Dynamics rolled out the American Dream Outfit, a get-up featuring a shirtless Steve Rogers in cargo pants, boots, and aviators. And, thanks to video game logic, he could still attach his shield to his back without a holster. The next Marvel's Avengers skin for Captain America won't have to ask players to further extend their suspension of disbelief.

Today, the Marvel's Avengers Twitter account showcased an image of Captain America's 2012 MCU Avengers suit as it will appear in-game. Players can look forward to getting their hands on the outfit when it hits the Marketplace next week on Tuesday, August 17. Get a good look at Cap's MCU-inspired threads in the post linked below, which reminds us that, yes, "he can do this all day."

This is no doubt a good addition to the title, though fans remain eager to see Cap's other notable outfits make their digital debut. The slick suit Chris Evans donned in Captain America: Winter Soldier counts as chief among the most-requested skins to date, for example. If and when such DLC will see the light of day in Marvel's Avengers presently remains unknown.

More exciting content peeks over the horizon, of course. On top of a new suit for Captain America, August 17 will also bring the Black Panther-centric War for Wakanda expansion to Marvel's Avengers. Stargate and God of War (2018) star Christopher Judge assumes the role of Black Panther for the free update, which boasts a plot wherein Klaw's forces directly threaten the safety of Wakanda. In an attempt to defend his people, King T'Challa chooses to take the fight to his enemies.
