Marvel Studios reportedly has two other MCU series in development that have yet to be announced. Kevin Feige is expanding the shared universe in an entirely different way as they officially dabble in small screen projects. Unlike the now defunct Marvel TV branch of the franchise, the new shows are guaranteed to tie-in with what they are doing on the big screen. So far, they've already announced a few of their upcoming projects and a couple of them already in production, such as The Falcon and the Winter SoldierWandaVision and Loki. However, they might have a couple more in the pipeline that haven't yet been confirmed.

The new TV shows are clearly going to be part of MCU's Phase 4 and beyond. Feige has continuously emphasized how important it is for fans to tune in to these Marvel Disney+ shows as they will factor significantly in the franchise's overall narrative. Aside from featuring some familiar faces from the movie side of things, effectively giving them more personal arcs, Marvel Studios is also planning to debut new characters who are expected to make their way on to the big screen, including Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Kate Bishop, and Moon Knight.

As it turns out, however, these shows may not just shine a light on existing characters or debut brand new ones, they could also explore narratives that could ultimately affect the whole of MCU. According to a new report from Bleeding Cool citing anonymous Hollywood industry players, Marvel Studios has two unannounced series in the works - one of which revolves around Secret Invasion based on the comic book run by Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Traces Yu. The other is a mysterious show featuring another Marvel movie star. No word yet one when these projects might come out and Bleeding Cool's reports doesn't include any release info.

Skrulls assemble in Secret Invasion

It's also very important to note that at this point nothing is official, so it's best to take it with a healthy dose of salt. However, if this report actually came to fruition, the events of the Secret Invasion TV series would have a ripple effect throughout the whole MCU. Since the Skrulls (and the Kree) were debuted in Captain Marvel, fans have wondered when a Secret Invasion narrative will be adapted to the franchise. Many assumed that it will be the next overall arc following the Infinity Saga, and while this report doesn't confirm that, a Secret Invasion TV show could be a way of introducing the storyline to the wider MCU.

As for the unknown MCU character awarded their own TV series, it's quite difficult to gauge who that could be considering that the report doesn't give any other information beyond that. However, with a string of supporting characters that are set to step up and become more prominent in the franchise, they have a lot of choices here. A Groot and Rocket show would be interesting to see, so would a Valkyrie limited series. Regardless of who they'll be, it's curious how their story will connect to the bigger lore much like the other Marvel/Disney+ projects that have already been greenlit.

With a stacked slate for the next few years, if these two additional MCU series are actually in development, it's curious where they land in the franchise timeline. Marvel Studios' workload has already been significantly increased between the big and small screen, not to mention the fact that Feige is supposedly producing a Star Wars movie. Adding a couple of more projects to their already jam-packed timeline sounds ridiculous. Then again, being such a well-oiled machine, if there's any studio that can handle the heavy workload, it's Marvel.
