Marvel Strike Force Trailer: Drax Should Always Go First

Marvel has released a trailer for the free-to-play mobile game, Marvel Strike Force. The trailer shows a humorous moment involving a team-up with Earth's heroes, S.H.I.E.L.D., and Drax the Destroyer, voiced by Dave Bautista, who also plays the character in the MCU.

Marvel Strike Force is the latest addition to a growing list of mobile games where players have access to the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, and more. Strike Force will be unique to the other Marvel games as it will focus on squad-based gameplay. Future Fight is a beat'em'up game where players can create a team of heroes but can only have one character in play at a time. Contest of Champions is a 2.5D one-on-one fighting game where players are thrust into a cosmic contest by the Collector. Avengers Academy lets fans play as teenage versions of their favorite heroes while guiding them through a college-like experience.

A new trailer for Marvel Strike Force features a scene where a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent prepares to go into action alongside an unusual team of heroes, including Captain America, Thor, Elektra, and Drax the Destroyer. During an inspirational speech about being a hero, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent steps off the plane before being suddenly blasted by Drax. In true Guardians of the Galaxy fashion, Dave Bautista's Drax laughs and says, "you should not have gone first".

The rest of the trailer previews the squad-based action and shows off some of the other characters featured in the game, such as Wolverine, Iron Man, and Hulk. The most surprising addition to the roster is Wolverine, considering that the initial announcement for Marvel Strike Force included no X-Men. However, Marvel recently began adding the X-Men to some of their games, including Future Fight. It remains to be seen if the Fantastic Four, another Marvel property that's often left out, will also be represented. EW reports that Wolverine's inclusion is credited to the ongoing negotiations between Disney and Fox.

Marvel Strike Force will feature an impressive roster of over 70 heroes and villains. Players will be able to take control of Spider-Man, Venom, Star-Lord, Groot, Gamora, Black Widow, Luke Cage, Doctor Strange, Daredevil, and more.

The game promises an interesting experience for Marvel fans, as it will allow players to customize teams of their favorite characters. Also, the game will employ a great deal of strategy, as picking the wrong heroes could result in defeat. Players will be expected to choose characters best suited for certain battles.
