You can now get a new look at some awesome Marvel and Star Wars toys unveiled last weekend at HASCON. The toy manufacturing giant held its annual event at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence on Sept. 8-10 and featured, among many family-friendly interactive activities, introductions to new toys from various product lines. Among those newly revealed collectibles were new additions to both the Marvel Legends series and multiple new Star Wars figures.

Marvel's highly detailed and stylized Legends Series figures have long been a popular series for both kids and collectors, and the latest additions to the line had previously been teased at San Diego Comic-Con before they were formally introduced at HASCON 2017. Along with Star Wars toys from both The Last Jedi's Force Link series and new vintage collections, you can now get an even closer look at Hasbro's newest Marvel creations.

Among the first-time additions to the series are six-inch figures of King Cobra and Paladin. There's also new figures of Wolverine, Psylocke, Storm, Iron Man, Bolt, Spider-Woman, Ghost Rider, Sub-Mariner, Klaw and Shuri, and Thanos. The Klaw and Shuri figures are Toys 'R' Us exclusives, while Thanos is a Wal-Mart exclusive. There's also a "Build-A-Figure" of Apocalypse that you can obtain through assembling parts that come with other figures.

Also revealed in the gallery is a fresh look at some new Star Wars toys originally unveiled at the convention last weekend. You can see a higher-quality version of the Force Link figure for The Last Jedi newcomer D.J. (Benicio del Toro), which first leaked through an intrepid visitor at HASCON who captured the toy on display. Also in the new Force Link collection are two versions of Rose, Luke Skywalker, General Leia, and Rey, as well as classic characters like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and R2-D2. Additionally, there's a fresh glimpse at new Black Series figures of Supreme Leader Snoke, Finn in his First Order disguise, Poe Dameron, Rose in her Resistance Tech uniform, and a Praetorian guard. Featured in the newly revealed Vintage Collection are Rey with her scavenger's outfit, Kylo Ren, Rogue One's Jyn Erso, and a rebel soldier from the ice planet Hoth.

This is easily the cleanest appearance yet of some exciting new collectibles for both Marvel and Star Wars devotees, and younger fans will certainly have no shortage of fun with this vast new collection. Fans of relatively unheralded Marvel characters like Bolt, Klaw and Shuri, and Sub-Mariner will certainly be excited to get their hands on the new Marvel Legends editions of the heroes. On the Star Wars side, it's exciting to see such a clear representation of Snoke, who has largely been shrouded in mystery since his introduction to the universe. It's also becoming clearer that Rose will play a significant role for the Resistance in The Last Jedi, as she joins Finn on an undercover mission.

The figures Thanos, Klaw, and Shuri will be harder to come by for collectors, but at least they know where to look. Star Wars fans, meanwhile, may feel a bit let down that the new D.J. figure reveals little in the way of fresh details about the mysterious new character, but that's sure to only build more intrigue ahead of the release of The Last Jedi.
