Marvel and Hulu's partnership will launch earlier than expected, as Runaways has been announced to start streaming this November. Marvel is joining forces with Hulu in an effort to continue and expand their reach. They have had two shows on ABC so far, and have rapidly grown content on another streaming platform, Netflix. Now, however, Freeform is actively developing a pair of new Marvel TV series, with Hulu also preparing to journey to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cue Hulu ordering Marvel's Runaways TV show concept to series.

Following reports that Runaways will debut this upcoming winter, fans have been speculating about exactly how soon it will be arriving. Optimists were looking at December as a potential landing spot for the series, while others thought the wait may go into next year. With Runaways season 1 still in the midst of filming, it continued to look like fans should expect a later arrival date for the show. However, that will not be the case after all.

Hulu has announced that Runaways will start streaming November 21, 2017. The official social media accounts for the show have already been updated with this information, but it was publicly shared on Twitter by TV MoJoe:

With 13 episodes scheduled for its first season, fans familiar with the Netflix model may be preparing themselves already for a 13 hour binge - but that won't be needed. Unlike Netflix, Hulu made the switch a few years ago to release their original content on a week by week basis. What this means for viewers anxiously awaiting the arrival of Runaways is that November 21st will only have a single episode available, and not the full season order. Unless Hulu doubles down on a few occasions, this premiere date and season length will allow for the first season of Runaways to conclude in early February.

To our knowledge, only the pilot of Runaways has been completed as of this point, so the cast and crew still have quite a lot of work to do before the beginning of next year. Thankfully, the Runaways cast is already set in stone, so production should be able to run smoothly from heron forward. Starring in the young adult TV series will be Rhenzy Feliz (Alex Wilder), Lyrica Okano (Nico Minoru), Ariela Barer (Gert Yorkes), Virginia Gardner (Carolina Dean), Gregg Sulkin (Chase Stein), and Allegra Acosta (Molly Hernandez). Together they will form the Runaways and be hunted by the villainous group known as The Pride - which just so happens to be made up of their parents.
