Marvel Studios is proving exactly how popular WandaVision really was thanks to its Disney+ plans and announcing multiple spinoffs. The first Marvel Cinematic Universe Disney+ show arrived in early 2021 to end the longest drought of content for the franchise. WandaVision's mystery story easily gave way to theories, which helped the show become incredibly popular online. It earned rave reviews and even won three Emmys, which is only part of the reason why many still argue that it is the best MCU Disney+ show. There are over half a dozen shows at this point, but Marvel's Disney+ plans continue to prove WandaVision's popularity.

The evidence for the show's popularity can be seen with how many WandaVision spinoffs Marvel is making. The studio is working on Agatha: Coven of Chaos starring Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, while there are also plans for Paul Bettany to return as White Vision in Vision Quest. These two MCU shows directly build on WandaVision's ending, as Agatha's spinoff will show what happens to her next, while White Vision's spinoff can explore his journey. To this point, Hawkeye is the only other MCU Disney+ show to launch a spinoff, so WandaVision getting two spinoffs is a great sign that Marvel and Disney were very happy with the show's performance.

Wandavision ending better than falcon and the winter soldier and loki

Marvel Studios' actions point to WandaVision being the most popular MCU show, or at least the one with the biggest impact on upcoming projects. However, the series is not technically the biggest Marvel show. While WandaVision held the title for being the most watched of Marvel's shows at first, it was later confirmed that Loki season 1 surpassed it. According to Neilsen's ratings, Loki season 1 averaged 872 million minutes of viewing per episode. WandaVision reportedly generated 534 million minutes per episode. None of the other MCU Disney+ shows that have been released have topped these figures, making WandaVision the second-biggest show by this metric.

Other WandaVision Spinoffs Marvel Can Still Make

Monica Rambeau After Wandavision

Marvel's interest in making WandaVision spinoffs does not need to end now that Agatha: Coven of Chaos and Vision Quest are in development. The franchise has a few other potential spinoffs that could be made. There is a lot of interest in seeing Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) lead a spinoff series next. WandaVision gave Monica Rambeau powers before her role in The Marvels, and she proved to be a breakout star of the show. A spinoff following Monica as a superhero and possibly even leading SWORD would be a fascinating opportunity to continue her story. This could even include explaining more about Monica's life pre-Blip and before her mother died.

Another WandaVision spinoff audiences were clamoring for during the show's initial run was focused on Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) and Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings). The duo had incredible chemistry in the series and became fan favorites as they theorized along with audiences about what was happening in Westview. The idea of an X-Files-style spinoff focused on Jimmy and Darcy investigating other anomalies is highly appealing. Dennings has even said that Marvel took notice of the interest in such a show, so this WandaVision spinoff could happen before too long.
