Marvel Legends: Infinity War Wave 2 Figures Include Black Widow

Hasbro has unveiled Marvel Legends figures of the movie versions of Thor, Black Widow, and Cull Obsidian, as part of a second wave of figures for Avengers: Infinity War. The figures give us our best look yet at Cull Obsidian, one of the members of Thanos' Black Order. Interestingly, the Thor figure shows the God of Thunder with both eyes, despite his injury in Thor: Ragnarok.

Hasbro's first wave of Avengers: Infinity War figures includes Songbird, Taskmaster, King Cobra, Proxima Midnight, Iron Spider, Iron Man, and Captain America. The wave was first teased at SDCC 2017 with the reveal of Songbird, a member of the Thunderbolts. King Cobra was shown off at HASCON 2017. The last of the comic-based figures in the series, Taskmaster, was unveiled at NYCC 2017. The remaining Avengers: Infinity War Wave 1 figures are all movie-inspired figures. The build-a-figure for the series is the MCU version of Thanos.

Hasbro has released official images of Marvel Legends Avengers Infinity War Wave 2 figures of Thor, Black Widow, and Cull Obsidian. The Thor figure is consistent with other merchandise of the film in that it seems to ignore the events of Thor: Ragnarok, which saw Thor lose his eye to Hela. This may add to the suspicions that Thor will regain his eye through magical means. It's worth noting that Thor is also wielding his new weapon, Stormbreaker.

Packaged with dual batons, Black Widow is sporting her new blond hair-do and green-tinted costume that were first glimpsed in Infinity War teaser trailer. Cull Obsidian, one of Thanos' minions, is the build-a-figure for the wave. We can assume that the figure is based on his MCU appearance, seeing as the comic book version of the character is named Black Dwarf. After Proxima Midnight, Cull Obsidian is only the second member of the Black Order to get the Marvel Legends treatment.

The rest of the wave is filled out by Wasp, Ant-Man, Malekith, and Black Knight. We first found out that there would be a second wave in October when Hasbro officially unveiled their figure of Black Knight, a classic member of the Avengers. Ant-Man, Wasp, and a comic book version of Malekith were revealed at this year's Toy Fair. The inclusion of Ant-Man and the Wasp figures could indicate that the movie won't receive its own series, which has hasn't happened for an MCU film in years.
