Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had nothing but kind words to say regarding the current state of the DC film universe.  There's no question that the DCEU (which apparently isn't its official name?) has experienced a major upswing in public opinion following the smashing success of the shared universe's fourth entry, Wonder Woman. In the wake of three widely divisive outings on the big screen, DC was sorely in need of a unanimous triumph, and Princess Diana of Themyscira certainly delivered, raking in over $820 million at the worldwide box office while accumulating an eye-popping 92% fresh score with critics over on Rotten Tomatoes.

The comments shouldn't come as a major surprise, given Feige's close personal relationship with DC head Geoff Johns and the praise that he heaped on Wonder Woman upon its release. Feige has done everything in his power to dispel the notion that Marvel and DC are bitter enemies in the past, saying, "When the movies perform well and are well received, it’s good for us – which is why I’m always rooting for them."

They're rivals, of course, but ones that undeniably benefit from each other's success. Diehard fans that staunchly defend all things DCEU might not like the implication that the shared universe had anything that needed to be figured out in the first place, but hey, it definitely did, so...
