New merchandise images from Marvel's Eternals provide a better look at the costumes worn by Ikaris and Sersi, as well as the other heroes. The upcoming movie will further explore the mythical side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It focuses on a powerful alien race as they work together to protect Earth from the villainous Deviants. Unlike past MCU films, Eternals will take place over 7,000 years and fully take advantage of the characters' immortality. Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, and Gemma Chan are all a part of the Eternals' star-studded cast, alongside several others.

As of now, the movie is set to release November 5, 2021, However, if not for COVID-19, Eternals would have debuted last month. Despite this, a surprisingly small amount of information has leaked about the film. Fans have yet to see any footage from Eternals, let alone a trailer. Additionally, the movie's costumes have remained mostly secret, though some promotional materials have offered an idea of what they look like. One sticker pack in particular showed the characters will each have their own distinct looks, with vibrant colors throughout.

In Eternals, Madden will play the all-powerful Ikaris, while Chan takes on the empathetic Sersi. New merchandise images shared by Eternals Brasil on Twitter offer a close-up look at both of their costumes. Additionally, a t-shirt shows all of the movie's main characters, though the details are a little harder to pick up on in that image. Check out the Eternals merchandise photos below:

It's exciting to see a new look at some of Eternals costumes, especially those worn by Sersi and Ikaris. The costumes are quite similar to what's been teased in past merchandise photos, though the details are easier to pick out in the Sersi and Ikaris images. At this point, the MCU has debuted countless costumes, making it harder for new ones to stand out. However, based on what's been seen so far, Eternals may be able to make an impression with its colorful looks.

It's also worth noting the Eternals costumes may be a little more difficult to pull off than those in past MCU movies. Due to the film's vast time span, the heroes' costumes have to look timeless. However, it's also important they be comic-accurate and acknowledge the team's alien origins. It's a tricky needle to thread, and audiences likely won't know how it turns out until Eternals finally releases next year.
