A new Eternals teaser showcases how powerful each hero is. In a month, Marvel Studios will make its return to the big screen with Chloé Zhao's upcoming MCU blockbuster. Set to introduce a whole new team of superheroes, the Eternals' arrival is expected to change the franchise's overall power hierarchy.

One of the projects confirmed on the heels of Infinity Saga's end, Eternals was officially announced during Marvel Studios San Diego Comic-Con panel back in 2019. Boasting a star-studded cast, it will see a group of powerful beings who have been on Earth for thousands of years emerge to neutralize the impending attack of the Deviants. Created by the Celestials, the Eternals are technically immortals, hence why the movie's narrative will cover thousands of years. That said, its main storyline will take place in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, with Hulk's (Mark Ruffalo) reverse snap being the catalyst to what they call the divergence.

With a full roster of new MCU key players, there's immense interest in learning more about the Eternals. A new teaser shared by Marvel Entertainment offers fresh looks at some of them using their respective powers. Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) is seen throwing some sort of magical weapons towards an unknown enemy. Meanwhile, Gilgamesh (Dong-seok Ma) powers his fists, and then seemingly punches a Deviant in the face. Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) fires up a power blast, and Makkari (Lauren Ridloff) shows off her super speed. Finally, Sersi (Gemma Chan) uses her ability to manipulate matter against fallen volcano debris. Throughout the Eternals clip, Angelia Jolie's Thena effortlessly wields her energy staff — in the end, she even used it to hand Phastos' son his orange. Watch the video below:

It's worth noting that aside from their individual capabilities, the Eternals also have a shared set of superpowers — at least in the comics. If Marvel Studios sticks to its print source, the heroes will all be capable of super strength, teleportation, telepathy, telekinesis, and shooting cosmic rays out of their eyes and hands, among others. Assuming that this is the case, then it's safe to say that they will be some of the most powerful beings in the franchise. Interestingly, however, the aforementioned clip, and the marketing in general, has yet to showcase Ajak's (Salma Hayek) powers. Granted that she's the one who can directly communicate with the Celestials, surely she has other abilities than just that.

Marvel Studios hasn't debuted a full roster of heroes since James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy back in 2014. So naturally, fans are eager to know more about these characters. It's also worth noting that like Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), these heroes have yet to appear in any other project in the MCU prior to their standalone film. So far, everything that has been said about the project is positive, with many expecting it to become one of the best movies Marvel Studios has made. With just a month before Eternals releases to the public, it won't be too long before everyone finds out what they bring to the table. Aside from that, expect Disney to ramp up marketing from here on out with clips and TV spots dropping in the next few weeks.
