The heroes of The Defenders are once again poking fun at each other in a series of motion posters from the upcoming miniseries. Following the success of all four of Marvel's shows on Netflix, the four heroes and their friends will be joining forces for an Avengers-style team-up on the streaming service later this summer. Given the varying degrees of acclaim each show has received, and the different styles and abilities showcased on each, the prospect of Marvel's street-level heroes working together has had fans excited for years.

Following the release of the official Defenders trailer, we now have a better idea of how each of the main characters will be coming together and forced to put aside their big personalities, in order to learn to work together. While the threat they will face remains something of a mystery, it's looking more and more like the villainous group The Hand will be involved. With the threat of so many New York baddies teaming up, it makes sense that Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage would not only combine forces, but bring their own posses with them. Of course, before they can fight together, they have to just get along.

The Twitter account for The Defenders has posted two additional motion posters, teasing the intersection of the various heroes of the Marvel/Netflix universe. The first one sees Jessica (Krysten Ritter) patiently waiting outside of Pop's Barbershop up in Harlem, while the second offers a nod to Matthew Murdock (Charlie Cox) and his friends' favorite hangout, Josie's, where Luke (Mike Colter) is visiting. Check those motion posters out, below:

Each tweet comes with some light ribbing, but it's the replies that show just how much fun it is to follow The Defenders social media accounts. Mixed in with responses from fans, each Defender is just oozing with witty jokes and take downs. From Jessica's love of alcohol to shots at Luke regarding his own short-lived drinking establishment, there's a rabbit hole of fun to be had in the thread for each tweet.

This also isn't the first time the shows have taken this approach. Previously-released Defenders motion posters also feature the various locations of the Netflix corner of the MCU. More than just provide fans with entertainment, the tweets and posters help keep anticipation building for the miniseries event. With an August premiere date and San Diego Comic-Con on the horizon, there is sure to be plenty more promotional material for The Defenders soon.
