Spider-Man and Nightwing might exist in two different comic universes, but an amazing piece of fan art has brought the two popular heroes together. In the crossover art, Miles Morales and Dick Grayson fight alongside each other in a team-up that comic book fans could only dream of happening.

Miles Morales is no stranger to fighting alongside heroes from the multiverse. His most famous comic storyline is Spider-Verse by Dan Slott, Olivier Coipel, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Wade Von Grawbadger, Cam Smith, and Justin Ponsor, where he teamed up with a handful of alternate versions of Spider-Man including Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman, Spider-Man Noir and more. His adventures in the series were adapted into the incredible 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Versewith the character's popularity rising to new heights. Meanwhile, Dick Grayson has been a mainstay in Batman comics for years, as the acrobatic hero is one of the most beloved members of the Bat-Family.

Over the past few weeks, artist Vasco Georgiev has released a series of Marvel/DC Comics crossover covers that have brought some tantalizing team-ups to life. He's done Deadpool teaming up with Harley Quinn, Superboy fighting alongside Rogue, Starfire, and Gamora battling together, and Poison Ivy and Mystique teaming up together. While the pieces are technically fan art, you wouldn't know it at first glance as they are done so well, down to the trade dress, that you'd think they were official covers. One of his best covers features Spider-Man teaming up with Miles Morales to take down some street-level baddies.

Spider-Man x Nightwing

It's easy to imagine how much butt Spider-Man and Nightwing would kick together. Miles could web the bad guys up, while Dick could take them out on the ground. While it's unlikely we'll ever see the two team up in an official capacity, seeing them do so in this incredible fan art is the next best thing.

If you like the cover, we strongly suggest following Vasco on Instagram and Twitter. He's done some amazing work in the crossover series as well as illustrations on The Mandalorian, Pokemon, and more. Georgiev has also worked on a handful of comics including Dynamite's Dejah Thoris. If he keeps up this work, there's no reason to think he won't be doing actual covers for Marvel or DC Comics sooner than later. Who knows? If the publishers ever agree to a crossover, he can do an official team-up with Spider-Man and Nightwing. How awesome would that be?
