Even though it might not look like it at first glance, Marvel and The Witcher have a lot of similar characters. They fight regularly to save the world or people, they have to deal with the distrust of those they're trying to save and they also struggle with forming romantic relationships and friendships with other people. All of this and more the characters from both universes have in common!

So if the Marvel heroes and The Witcher characters met, they might not get along at first but they would eventually recognize their similarities and perhaps even become good friends or fight together in the end. Here's how they match up with one another.

Daredevil And Geralt Of Rivia

geralt daredevil

Although he hasn't appeared on the big screen (yet), Daredevil is still a part of the Marvel Universe. He mostly fights solo, and only asks for help when he has no other choice. Because of his secret identity, he has trouble maintaining close relationships, and he isn't so lucky in the romance area.

Geralt is a bit of a lone wolf as well, what with the way people fear the Witchers. He can push his friends away, just like Matt, but in the end, both Daredevil and Geralt don't want to be alone, even though they might claim the opposite.

Natasha Romanoff And Renfri

Nat Renfri

Renfri hasn't had an easy life. People believed she was cursed, born to be evil, and as a result, they treated her like a pariah, drove her on the path of violence. Natasha has had an equally difficult life, with her training and former job as a spy.

They're both excellent fighters but not so successful when it comes to personal life. It isn't easy for them to get close to people, and even when they do, things tend to end badly more often than not.

Peter Parker And Jaskier

Jaskier Peter Parker

Everybody's favorite wall-crawler is just like everybody's favorite bard Jaskier (Dandelion in the games). Even though it might not be so obvious at the first glance, Jaskier is younger than a large number of The Witcher heroes. As a result, he can be quite goofy, and uncertain sometimes.

Peter looks up to Mr. Stark just like Jaskier looks up to Geralt. They might not always save the whole world but they can make the corner of their own world much better thanks to their kind heart and an easy ability to make friends.

Deadpool And Lambert

Deadpool Lambert

Of all The Witcher characters, Deadpool is closest to Geralt's fellow Witcher Lambert. Deadpool is a witty person, funny, and he craves action.

Lambert is equally snarky, enjoys insulting people, and hates being bored. He's not immortal like Deadpool but considering his Witcher powers, the two could cause a lot of chaos together if they ever joined forces.

Black Panther And Regis

Black Panther Regis

It's true that Black Panther is much younger than Regis. But this difference aside, what connects them is the fact they're both wise people who have a lot on their shoulders and try to do the best for those they care about.

As a Higher Vampire, Regis feels responsible for his friends, and T'Challa has to take care not just of his family, but of the entire Wakanda. They have a strong sense of morality and are willing to sacrifice a lot for their loved ones if the need arises.

Peggy Carter And Queen Calanthe

Peggy Calanthe

In universes filled with characters who have special powers, both Peggy Carter and Ciri's grandmother Queen Calanthe stand out. They were two women who lived in a men's world but worked hard to be taken seriously.

As a result, they became powerful and others respected them. They had a strong sense of right and wrong, and followed their principles, even if they sometimes led them astray.

Scott Lang And Zoltan Chivay

Scott Lang Zoltan Chivay

When Scott first appeared in the MCU, he wasn't what the fans would call 'a a typical hero'. He was a thief first and foremost, and he fell into the hero activity when he tried to steal from Hank Pym. Scott means well but he doesn't always make the best life choices.

The same goes for Geralt's good friend Zoltan Chivay who's a badass fighter but less good at handling money. Both Scott and Zoltan are also willing to fight for their friends, even if they prefer to just have fun and relax.

Steve Rogers And Triss Merigold

Captain America Triss Merigold

What connects Steve and Triss is that they're both good people who, however, made some bad mistakes when they lied to the people they cared about.

Steve lied to Tony about his parents, and Triss lied to Geralt about his past (or, more precisely, didn't tell him the truth). It took a while for them to figure out what type of person they wanted to be, but when their friends needed them, Steve and Triss were there to stand by their side.

Tony Stark And Yennefer Of Vengerberg

Tony Yennefer

Steve and Tony are like two sides of the same coin, and the same goes for Yennefer and Triss. Yennefer might not be as sympathetic, what with her tendency to criticize people and offer biting remarks. Tony's famous sarcasm also didn't make him popular with some people. Their traumatic pasts made them people who built walls around themselves.

Tony and Yennefer have only a few people they truly love but would move heaven and earth if it meant getting them back. Tony demonstrated it when he invented time travel to bring back Peter, and Yennefer brought a man from the dead to find her adoptive daughter Ciri.

Wanda Maximoff And Ciri

Wanda Ciri

Growing up is difficult enough without realizing that one has special powers. Both Ciri and Wanda have been through the same traumatic experience - they lost their parents, were forced to run away from their home, and discovered they had powers which they had to learn how to control.

In the end, they managed to find a new family they became a part of, and even found love, although their romances didn't have a happy ending.
