Don Cheadle hilariously runs away from an interviewer's questions regarding the status of the in-development Disney+ series Armor Wars. Cheadle made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in 2010's Iron Man 2, replacing Terrence Howard as U.S. Air Force Colonel and Tony Stark companion James Rhodes. The character would go on to don the mantles of War Machine and Iron Patriot in his eight subsequent MCU appearances, including the recently released Disney+ shows The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and What If...?.

Development on Armor Wars was first announced in December 2020 with Cheadle set to reprise his role as Rhodes/War Machine for the Disney+ series adapting the comic book storyline in which Stark's Iron Man armor technology falls into the wrong hands and puts the world at risk. The series would finally pick up further steam this past August as Cheadle's Black Monday co-star and Girls alum Yassir Lester would sign on as the head writer for the series. As fans eagerly await the start of production on Armor Wars, the series' star isn't ready to discuss the project too in-depth just yet.

While speaking with the actor for his long-running career in Hollywood, Ace Universe shifted the conversation with Cheadle to questions regarding Disney+'s Armor Wars. True to his secret-keeping skills, Cheadle immediately gets up and moves quickly away from the camera upon hearing the series' title and coming back moments later to note the interviewer could ask questions, but he can only answer so many. Check out the hilarious moment below:

Actors involved in the long-running MCU are well aware of the dangers of revealing secrets to the world, with Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo proving the more iconic of the group for their slips over the years. Cheadle, on the other hand, has become an expert in keeping Marvel secrets close to the chest in his decade with the franchise, making the hilarious moment of running away from Armor Wars questions unsurprising for fans of the star. The Oscar nominee is also known for having been present during one of Ruffalo's most memorable reveals in which he teased the death of nearly the entire cast of Avengers: Infinity War in the lead up to the film's release, with Cheadle attempting to warn his co-star too late and advising to move on in the interview to avoid further trouble.

Even if Armor Wars proves to be a ways away from hitting screens, the hiring of Yassir Lester this year certainly points to solid forward momentum on the series. Additionally, the roster of upcoming MCU titles on both the big and small screens is plentiful to keep fans entertained in the meantime, with everything from the hotly discussed Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to the quietly progressing She-Hulk and Secret Invasion. Audiences can catch up on Cheadle's latest performances as Rhodes in What If...? and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+ now.
