For seven seasons, Agents Of SHIELD brought audiences a group of regular people who became heroes - and a family. Along the way, those heroes had to face off against a whole lot of villains. The villains of the series were characters we loved to hate - or loved to see evolve.

For the fans who loved the villains just as much as they loved the heroes, astrology makes for an interesting way to see which villain they identify with the most. After a careful look at the personalities of the various big bads and their lieutenants, these are their zodiac signs.

Aries: Grant Ward

Former SHIELD agent Grant Ward might be the best known villain of the show since the audience believed he was one of the good guys in the first season. He played the long game, hiding in SHIELD from a young age for his Hydra superior John Garrett, but patience definitely wasn't his strong suit.

Ward was the type of villain who charged ahead to complete missions on his own, demonstrating a pretty impulsive streak for someone who was supposed to maintain cover at all times. That's his Aries showing.

Taurus: Daniel Whitehall

Dr. Whitehall, on the other hand, was a man of extreme patience. Known by other names during his rise in Hydra, he developed the science behind stealing the powers of an Inhuman. He spent years in prison, and then in hiding, evading SHIELD as often as he could.

That patience, and his near superhuman reliability for Hydra agents, is a sign of the ever steady Taurus. His calm demeanor made him even scarier to his enemies.

Gemini: Raina

Raina was on a quest when the audience met her; they just didn't quite understand what it was. All Raina ever wanted was to find her place in the world and claim her birthright, but to do that, she had to be able to fit into plenty of strange situations.

Like a Gemini, Raina was a maleable force. She adapted to a life working alongside Ian Quinn. Raina understood her way around Hydra. She even found her place at the Inhuman community Afterlife.

Cancer: Jiaying

The audience didn't get to know Jiaying very well in her first appearance in season two. When time travel allowed the show to revisit the character in the final season, the audience got to see that Jiaying's militant attitude was born out of not only what Hydra did to her, but also what she went through with her daughter.

Jiaying's capacity to care for her people, and just how deeply her experiences affect her, is a sign of a Cancer. That connection to her emotions and her tendency to cling to specific experiences  are part of a Cancer's intuitive nature.

Leo: Ruby Hale

Ruby Hale made her Agents Of SHIELD debut in the fifth season, and she was a force to be reckoned with. Though Ruby was still an immature teen longing to have the power of a hero, she made a lot of trouble when she tried to gain the power of gravitonium.

Leos are usually known to be incredibly loving people. While Ruby didn't entirely appear loving, she tried to learn how to be after being raised as the perfect killing machine. She also loved to be the center of attention, a true Leo trait.

Virgo: Gideon Malick

Gideon Malick - What Marvel Movie Fans Need to Know

Gideon Malick's family had a lasting legacy on the series. Just when the audience thought they were done with the Malicks, Nathaniel became a major villain in the final season. Without Gideon in the beginning, however, his father and brother wouldn't have played major roles.

Gideon worked as a member of the World Security Council, but he was really undercover for Hydra. He exemplified the Virgo planner trait. Malick taught his family the ancient ways of Hydra, having a plan for getting the first Inhuman to Earth, and always staying one step ahead of SHIELD.

Libra: John Garrett

John Garrett joined SHIELD because he thought he was going to be a part of something bigger than himself. He wanted to have a legacy. When SHIELD turned on him, leaving him for dead, he allied himself with the organization that he believed wouldn't leave their agents to die - Hydra.

Libras are all about fair play. That might not seem like something befitting a villain, but fair play was Garrett's entire motivation. He wanted to work for a group that would give its employees as much effort as the employees gave. He was all about reciprocity.

Scorpio: Sinara

Sinara was one of the best fighters in the Kree stronghold on Earth in season five's alternate timeline. She's essentially the enforcer for Kasius, the Kree who took over the Lighthouse and "saved" what was left of humanity.

Sinara was a mysterious soul who didn't speak during her time on the show. What she did, instead, was always be ready for a confrontation. Scorpios are characterized by aggressively going after what they want, but also playing their cards close to the vest, which is pretty perfect for her.

Sagittarius: Ophelia

Agents of SHIELD the AI Aida

Before she became Ophelia, she was AIDA, an android who was eerily human with a real interest in learning everything about humanity she could. The corruption of the Darkhold and her immersion in the Season Four's Framework created the persona Ophelia, who took on the abilities of every Inhuman she encountered.

Sagittarius tend to love learning and end up in scholarly positions. The downside to some born under the sign is that once they immerse themselves in a subject, they consider themselves an expert, much like Ophelia believes she understands Fitz so completely that he'll love her in the real world.

Capricorn: Hive

Hive In His True Inhuman Form In Agents Of SHIELD

The first Inhuman was locked away on a desolate planet where he only fed on a sacrifice provided periodically from the people who would become Hydra. Hive just wanted to be able to use his power however he saw fit - at first. Over time, his ambitions grew and he never stopped trying to find a way back to Earth.

Two things define most Capricorns most often: ambition and commitment. Hive's goals might seem unrealistic, but he puts in the work and develops a following to achieve them. He almost does in Season 3.

Aquarius: Kora

Agents of SHIELD Season 7 Kora

A late series addition to the list of villains, Kora made her debut as the sister Daisy/Quake never knew in the final season. Kora just wanted her freedom. She also wanted to help people, but her methods needed a whole lot of work.

Aquarius is the rebel of the zodiac, the one who defies tradition and paves their own path. Kora eventually found  her way to where she wanted to go, and she turned her life around.

Pisces: Donnie Gill

Donnie, like Kora, wasn't intentionally a villain. He became one after being manipulated by Hydra and going on the run. He wanted to help people and change the world when he debuted in Season One.

Pisces are characterized by being intuitive and emotional beings. Donnie formed deep attachments to the people he cared about, but his emotional responses to situations left his power going haywire.
