The Lifetime reality show Married At First Sight season 12 is getting heated as Jacob Harder commented on Chris Williams gift to his ex-fiancé Mercedes Myrick. On the Married At First Sight reaction show Unfiltered, Jacob shared his honest opinion about Chris gifting his ex-fiancé a brand-new Mercedes Benz, and he was not impressed and didn't mince his words. Dr Viviana shared the same sentiments as Jacob on the Chris situation.
Chris Williams has received a lot of criticism this season. Current castmates like Jacob Harder, Erik Lake and Virginia Coombs, have had a lot to say about his behavior. However, former castmates like Jamie Otis have also put their two cents into the relationship between Chris and Paige, to which Chris slammed her and reminded Jamie of how she acted on her wedding to Doug. Even expert Dr Pepper Schwartz posted then deleted a comment slamming Chris’ behavior. The relationship between Paige and Chris has been a headache for many, and fans will be glad to see it end when the season ends. Unfortunately, this season has been plagued with confusion, drama and even the castmates cannot help but comment on the shenanigans, especially when Chris told Paige he bought his ex-fiancé a Mercedes Benz.
According to Reality TV World, on the Unfiltered episode Jacob rewatched the clip when Chris told Paige about the car and called Chris a “dumbass.” Jacob could not understand why Chris could not buy a cheaper car. He shared his thoughts saying, “First of all, you got her a Benz, dude?! Come on! You're married, like, give her a [Chevy] Cobalt if you're going to get her a new car." Jacob also added that it felt like Chris was sending a message to Paige saying that he does not car about their marriage. However, this is accurate as Chris asked Paige for a divorce before decision day and said he is seeking to reconcile with his ex-fiancé.
Dr Viviana also added that she felt that Chris should have spoken to Paige before purchasing the car for his ex. “What I don't like is that he waited until after he did it to share it with her. That's not the way that it works when you're building trust with someone." Chris and Paige’s relationship seemed doomed from the beginning regardless of the ex-fiancé situation. There were too many obstacles, personality differences and of course the attraction aspect that Chris placed a heavy emphasis on.
The Married At First Sight season 12 reunion show is definitely going to be interesting. Seeing the entire cast together commenting on the season is bound to cause some tension, especially as it seems that Chris has rubbed all of them the wrong way, and many fans feel Chris is the ultimate villain. They will all likely have a few thoughts about his behavior and his treatment of Paige. Chris has already been pretty explosive on social media and has shot back at a few people already, so the reunion is sure to be dramatic.
