As filming for Married to Medicine season 9 has come to an end, it appears as though veteran cast member Toya Bush-Harris and newcomer Anila Sajja have ended their feud. At the beginning of season 8, Bush-Harris and Sajja had a great relationship due to Sajja and her husband, Dr. Kiran Sajja, building their home in the neighborhood that the Bush-Harris family recently moved into. Over time, the two were able to develop a closer friendship as Bush-Harris incorporated Sajja into an established tennis group amongst the women in their neighborhood.

The relationship seemed to deteriorate shortly after Sajja was introduced into the Married to Medicine group. Sajja stepped into the group as a very vocal member, which is unlike any woman that is introduced into the group; most friends of the show tend to sit and observe before getting involved with the inner circle. Being a friend of Bush-Harris caused Sajja to be an impressionable character amongst some of the other women in the group, including Dr. Heavenly Kimes. During an activism trip to attend the Black Lives Matter march in Washington, DC, set up by Dr. Damon and Kimes, Sajja and Bush-Harris remained in each other's spaces until a group outing. While on the way to the restaurant, Sajja mentioned that hairstylists and makeup artists need to be paid immediately, which prompted Bush-Harris to inquire whether a payment was made or not.

Bush-Harris then publicly reprimanded Sajja after understanding that the bill was not yet paid, causing Sajja to feel embarrassed. The 'sister-ship' suffered an immediate strain, and this continued at the group's dinner. Upon the group's return to Atlanta, the relationship was destroyed after Sajja alleged that Bush-Harris was spreading false rumors about her to the women in their neighborhood. This pushed Sajja to form relationships with other cast members, including Dr. Kimes and Quad Webb, with whom Bush-Harris has strained relationships. There were moments during the season on Bravo where the two would try to reconcile, but this never lasted for too long. At the season's reunion, the two decided that they would work on their relationship and even shared a hug. But shortly after the reunion, Sajja made an Instagram post saying that it doesn't take a camera to make them friends. Dr. Simone Whitmore, veteran cast member of the show, and Bush-Harris were not seen in the image, but season 1 main cast member Kari Wells, who appeared as a friend in season 8, was. This image was also posted to Dr. Jackie and Wells’ page with different captions and hashtags. It was alleged that the feud between Bush-Harris and Sajja continued into filming for season 9, but this was not confirmed. Just recently, after wrapping up filming for Married to Medicine season 9 on Bravo, Bush-Harris and Sajja took to Twitter and posted the same image, where they seem to be in a better space. Sajja said, "Expect the unexpected."

Since the posts were made to Twitter, Sajja has been seen in Instagram posts with Dr. Kimes, Quad Webb and Dr. Jacqueline Walters. Bush-Harris is seemingly spending more time with Dr. Whitmore and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe, whom Bush-Harris also introduced to the show and had a falling out with. In the past, one member of the cast has never been able to handle being a friend in separate cliques and this can pose a problem for Sajja and Bush-Harris if they try to rekindle their relationship. Apart from Bush-Harris and Sajja , Married to Medicine season 8 saw many deteriorated friendships and relationships, which is also seen with the Real Housewives franchise, that fans will need to be updated about in the upcoming season. Dr. Scott and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe were among those that experienced some marital issues that started being addressed in the seventh season. Their relationship continued on a downward spiral during the season and seemed to be almost over at the season's reunion when the couple could not seem to agree on what was happening with their relationship. Instagram posts suggest that the two are doing well. But during Married to Medicine season 8, happy Instagram posts did not reflect the reality of the Metcalfes' marriage.

While the plot and storylines for Bravo's Married to Medicine season 9 have not been confirmed, the cast has been. Veterans Simone Whitmore, Jacqueline Walters, Toya Bush-Harris, Quad Webb, Mariah Huq and Heavenly Kimes will reportedly be featured. Additionally, Contessa Metcalfe, Lisa Nicole-Cloud, Kari Wells, Anila Sajja, Genise Shelton and Krista Gibson will also be in the new season. Shelton appeared in the fourth season as a friend but did not make appearances in other seasons. Gibson is entirely new to the Married to Medicine franchise. Many possible storylines can be found in Married to Medicine season 9, and with the return of all the veterans, the season is bound to increase in viewership. Watching the season when it premieres is the only way all existing questions will be answered.
