Season 10 of Lifetime's wild reality series Married at First Sight was perhaps the most dramatic of all the seasons. Michael Wilson was constantly answering Meka Jones' questions with "inconsistencies" (ahem, lies). Jessica Dunklin posted a rude Instagram story claiming she was single while she was married to Brandon Reid. Brandon behaved like a six-year-old by ignoring everyone or throwing tantrums. Katie Conrad was constantly losing her cool because she didn't think Derek Sherman paid enough attention to her. Basically, the season was nonstop action. In fact, there was so much action that viewers might've missed the bonkers drama between Mindy Shiben and Zach Justice.

Mindy and Zach started out on a promising note. They seemed to like each other and Mindy even complimented Zach on what a great communicator he was. However, things quickly fell apart during the couple's honeymoon in Panama. Early on, Zach told Mindy that he wasn't attracted to her (Chris Williams did the same thing to Paige Banks), and then had the audacity to ask her what he should do about it. This was the first red flag that Zach's communication skills weren't as good as Mindy initially thought they were. He proceeded to talk in dizzying circles, saying everything yet saying nothing at all. This trend continued for the remainder of their relationship.

When Mindy discovered that Zach had struck up a relationship with her longtime friend Lindsay, and then discovered that he lied about the nature of that relationship, Mindy called it quits for good. She'd put everything on the line and enough was enough. She got a divorce and left Washington D.C. She found a new normal for herself in Mexico.

Moving to Mexico was a much-needed fresh start for Mindy. She's spending her days relaxing, doing yoga, and volunteering as an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor. She said she's even considering becoming a full-time ESL teacher. Mindy says that what she enjoys the most about living in Mexico is the fact that no one recognizes her.

Since she's no longer being recognized everywhere she goes, Mindy feels that she's able to live a normal life again. As for whether or not she ever plans to return to America, the jury's still out. She's currently planning on staying in Mexico through June. Then, she'll reassess based on what's happening with COVID-19. One thing she knows for sure is that a return to America won't include a return to Washington, D.C.

Though the drama was intense, Mindy doesn't regret taking part in Married at First Sight. She might not speak to Zach at all anymore, and Zach might have gone on a weird date with Katie Conrad, but she's thankful for the experience. She also says she has no regrets about the way she presented herself on the show. She wouldn't change a thing. It's good that she has such a great perspective on things.
