Married at First Sight's Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner have announced that they're pregnant with their second child, following years of infertility issues. The couple currently have a two year old daughter, Henley Grace, as well.

Otis and Hehner were married during the first season of Married at First Sight, with Otis being the infamous bride who cried after she married Hehner, but not for good reasons. Otis has openly admitted that when she first saw her now-husband, there was no chemistry. However, nine seasons after they met, Hehner and Otis are now a benchmark for other couples coming onto the show, being one of only six pairs to have stayed together long-term following their season, and one of five couples who have started families together. Much like the start of their marriage, starting and expanding their family proved to be more difficult than they expected, but the couple has recently announced some happier news in their infertility saga.

The former Bachelor contestant posted to her Instagram (via: E! News) to confirm what fans had assumed based on a previous post - the couple is expecting their second child together, following a long road of fertility issues. Otis said she's estimated to be about four weeks along, so it's still early days, but the couple is "cautiously optimistic." Prior to the birth of their daughter Henley in 2017, Otis suffered a stillbirth in her second trimester, giving birth to a son the pair named Jonathan. Following Henley's birth, Otis suffered two more miscarriages and went through multiple rounds of fertility treatments, but Otis wrote in the post that she "[has] a feeling this little one is going to stick." She also went in to detail about some irregularities in her bloodwork that nurses were looking into which could indicate that she is potentially further along than four weeks or that the couple could be having twins. Otis clarified that the nurses said "it's most likely I'm further along," though she did add that she "would absolutely love twins!" Check out the post below:

Otis also added a note for all the women who follow her that were dealing with fertility issues of their own, acknowledging the "instant internal pain" that comes from seeing women who are able to get pregnant when you cannot. She also encouraged all her followers who were struggling to keep fighting because "your rainbow will come too." Hehner and Otis are a beloved couple in the Married at First Sight family and all of their fans are rooting for their family and their rainbow baby after following them through their journey up to this point. The couple has been in the public eye since the moment they chose to marry complete strangers on television, and there's no doubt that they'll continue to share their lives through Otis' pregnancy and beyond.

Otis and Hehner are the golden couple from the first season of Married at First Sight. Fans watching the current season of the show might be doubting the process of the show. With all of Matt Gwynne and Amber Bowles' issues, as well as the martial struggles couples Iris Caldwell and Keith Manley and Elizabeth Bice and Jamie Thompson are dealing with, it's hard to see how this show could breed successful couples. That said, Hehner and Otis are proof that this process really does work as long as the pairings are willing to put in the effort.
