The Married at First Sight 11 couples were whisked away to a tropical resort for their honeymoons, and here are all the details about the romantic destination.

Unlike couples who get to know their partners before they wed, and also plan their nuptials, these newlyweds had no idea what their spouse, wedding, or honeymoon would look like on the mornings of their big days. While the cast members have some input in terms of the wedding decor, the honeymoon locations are kept under wraps until the couple's first day of marriage. From comparing what was packed in their luggage to sizing up how each MAFS cast member handles travel, the honeymoons are a chance to get an inside look at their spouses' personalities.

Previous seasons have featured honeymoons in tropical getaways across the globe, from Panama to Antigua to Costa Rica. Honeymoons are opportunities to build strong friendships and rugged foundations for long-lasting marriages. Plus, the intimacy and romance of the honeymoon experience encourages couples to explore their physical chemistry. This season, Woody and Amani are well on their way to deepening intimacy while Henry and Christina are still warming up to one another. A tropical destination allows the newly-formed couples to learn more about each other while shielded from the stressors of real life.

This season, the New Orleans couples flew to Hotel Xcaret Mexico in Playa del Carmen for their all-inclusive honeymoons. With hammocks on the patio, just a step away from an always-inviting river, the resort is a relaxing place for understandably stressed couples. Christina, a travel veteran married to MAFS star Henry (a shy gentleman with no stamps on his passport) aimed to take full advantage of the resort life for Henry's sake. They kayaked between cliffs and visited a mud spa, much to Henry's dismay.

Best friends Woody and Miles took their new wives (Amani and Karen, respectively) on an exhilarating jet boat ride. A honeymoon isn't complete without any hiccups, such as Woody losing his wedding ring while swimming with newlyweds Bennett and Amelia. Olivia and Brett, the couple with a shared love of fitness, raced each other through an endurance and strength-testing obstacle course. Seemingly, the resort had an activity for each couple to enjoy and bond over.

As the couples were increasingly put at ease by the resort amenities, they opened up, through some tough marital conversations. Each couple faces differences of opinion about life-altering decisions, such as whether to have kids or where to settle down to start a family. While the trip helped couples like Karen and Miles to become more comfortable with each other, it also pushed the more in-sync couples to begin imagining a MAFS future together. Although none of the pressing conversations have been finalized, a few more days of R&R may help to ensure positive outcomes from those discussions. Married at First Sight and Mexico go hand in hand.
